About the home

The property is located at just 5 minutes drive from the beach, golf, tennis & horseriding facilities + fashionable shops & restaurants. It is enjoyable all year round as the house gets quickly heated, is comfortably fitted and well equipped. Newly redecorated in 2009-2010.

Children will enjoy cycling on the safe cul-de-sac and will make the most of the large garden with direct access to the woods. The wooden terrace is ideal for barbeque parties, furnished with a table and chairs. The living room is large with log fire, an open kitchen and a children/TV corner. The villa is ideal for families, with 5-6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Young children will find some toys & games to play with as well as some books and DVDs, mostly in French though... Brand new LCD TV with TNT receiving French bouquet; also French satellite connection but summer reception is poor due to surrounding trees.

Direct access from the garden to the forest by foot. Virtually anything in Le Touquet accessible by bicycle from the property.

The house will be opened, heated, closed and cleaned by a local representative at no extra cost, apart from cleaning if a normal weekly cleaning is not sufficient. Keys will be handed over to the holidaymakers at their arrival by the local representative, who will pick them up at their departure.

Conditions

Sorry no pets & no smoking inside the house. Children and also babies will feel themselves at home at Les Sables.

“A fantastic location in a beautiful seaside town -perfect throughout the year.” We spent October half term in this fantastic property. Two families - four adults and four small children. Beautiful and peaceful location in the suburbs of Le Touquet surrounded by Woodland. Short drive (about 40 minutes) from Calais. Walking distance to supermarket and bakery. Perfect location to take your bikes - wide avenues lined with cycle tracks all over the town. Fantastic garden and bedrooms for children - plus a good supply of toys. Warm property with central heating and a fantastic real fire. Well equipt kitchen (apart from tea mugs!) and lots of fresh towels. So much to do in and around Le Touquet - amazing beach, great fun exploring sand dunes and we had a ball on a bicycle made for 8 exploring Le Touquet on it's purpose built cycle roads. A beautiful Carousel on the sea front along with an indoor/outdoor swimming centre. We really enjoyed exploring the stables and the children had fun on the pony promenade - they just gave us a pony each and let us walk off with them to explore le Touquet by hoof! So many fantastic cafe's and restaurants. Great markets with amazing food, lots of fresh fish markets. The local bakery - Nicolas - was brilliant. We also loved the Blue Cat Chocolate shop and the Creperie across the road. Out of Le Touquet adventures - The high ropes course in Estaples was great fun for a half day. Half the party went on a steam train adventure around the Somme whilst the other half had a Eurodisney Adventure - all parties had a terrific day. Would love to go back - winter or summer. Have already recommended the property to many friends.
