About the home

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms (double and twin), a large living area with a sofa bed, kitchen, bathroom and separate shower room. The sun drenched south facing terrace overlooking the private pitch and putt golf course provides the ideal outside family space for barbequing and relaxing.

This apartment has been furnished throughout to a very high standard and provides all the modern facilities you would expect in a quality holiday rental.

Facilities include a dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, CD player and TV/DVD player. There is also a selection of films and board games to keep the children entertained whilst on holiday.

The Northern France / Nord-Pas-de-Calais region

The Pas de Calais region of France offers plenty to do for family holidays all year around.
Miles of picturesque coastline, historic towns, excellent cuisine and elegant French seaside resorts make this destination a stunning coastline rich in birdlife.

Beaches.
Le Touquet, Stella Plague, Merlimont are all fantastic beaches all within easy access of the apartment.

Montreuil-sur-Mer
Is a pretty hilltop walled town with cobbled streets dating from the 13th century it is also blessed with some very fine restaurants and wine shops. The towns ramparts have some wonderful walks and views across the surrounding countryside. As the highest vantage point for miles General Haig Hague kept the British army headquarters here during WW1.

Boulogne.
Famous as being France's biggest fishing port, Boulogne’s history dates back to Roman times.
The excellent Nausicaa Sea life Centre (aquarium) with 4.5 million litres of water, this is the French 'Seaworld' experience - the place where you get a true sense of marine exploration. The 19th century basilica with huge dome is also well worth a visit.

Berck
Has the excellent Bagatelle amusement park to keep the kids entertained on holiday.

Etaples.
A thriving town with some great fish restaurants. There is also a tranquil military cemetery close by. designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens famous for his designs numerous country houses in England.

The Le Touquet area

Le Touquet is surrounded by a huge pine forest and wide beaches backed by sandy dunes. There are some great activities to be enjoyed here including yachting, golf, horse-riding, kite surfing sand yachting and numerous other sporting facilities. A racecourse and casino also serve to entertain! or why not just pamper yourself in the spa.

Le Touquet is a fun and fashionable holiday resort on the beautiful Opal coast of northern France. Also known as Paris Plage due to it's popularity with Parisians it became famous as a weekend and holiday destination for the elite of Paris. Popularity with the British came in the 1930s when Noel Coward’s made it famous. Within the town you will find a range of chic shops and boutiques, fine restaurants and lively bars. Golfers are spoilt for choice with three famous golf courses on your doorstep. La Foret, Parcours de la mer, and Le Manoir.

The Le Touquet Tourist Board has ensured that the town lives up to its reputation as a four season resort with numerous events organised throughout the year. (wine tasting, concerts, rallying, tennis tournaments, dog shows to name a few) It is the perfect destination for a weekend break or longer holiday at any time of year. Within a couple of hours of leaving England you could be enjoying the delights of this chic French resort.

By air: there are direct flights to Le Touquet airport from these UK airports:

"We had a lovely short stay at the Louisiana appartment. The appartment contained everything we needed, the large patio area was delightful its just a shame we didn’t get much sun ‘C’est la vie’.

"Just to say we really enjoyed our stay at Lousianna. We’ve had a very stressful time recently, and appreciated the peace and tranquillity of the area. The apartment was lovely and my husband and son made full use of the pitch and putt course!!"
