Containing 4 bedrooms (one a study), 2 large bathrooms, modern kitchen, separate lounge, dining rooms and a garden, this is an ideal location for all including children. Local amenities include shops and beach only 5minutes walk away . For the more active, an excellent well known golf course, tennis courts, riding and shooting facilities are all available.

The Northern France / Nord-Pas-de-Calais region

The resort was created in 1876 by Hippolyte de Villemessant (1812-1879), founder and owner of the Paris newspaper, Le Figaro. At the time, this was an area of wild sand dunes and forest - part of a hunting estate. It became known as “Paris by the sea” and strict building regulations encouraged the most talented architects to create imaginative and innovative developments. In the 1920s, Noël Coward and the “smart set” from England spent weekends here and commissioned more outstanding villa designs echoing traditional and ultra-modern domestic styles. Today the town tourist office offers organised trails to see outstanding examples of 19th and 20th century domestic architecture, which are now preserved and protected.

The Le Touquet area

Le Touquet has been a major resort for the elite of Paris for 100 years. It has every facility for sport, family, culture, shopping and is a high class area ideal for golfers with many excellent courses within 20 minutes. With a wide open sand beach and Ferry and Channel Tunnel crossings situated nearby, Le Touquet is an ideal base for trips to all areas of Northern France.
