About the home
Recently renovated Provencal villa in a stunning location. Views of the mountains and distant coast line of Cannes & Antibes. Quality fixtures and fittings throughout, Hi-fi, TV's and SKY. Kids TV room with PS2 and extensive film and game library. 5 good sized rooms, plus a childrens room with a triple bunk bed. 2 bathrooms and 2 shower room all recently done. Summer dining terrace with large Gas Barbecue. Shady areas to relax and sunbathing terrace away from main pool area for serious sun bathers! Beautiful decked pool area. Kids garden toys, including Table Tennis, Boules pitch and bikes available.
Great location of mountain lovers and beach goers very easy access to both. Ideal also for those wanting to explore the Medieval villages of the Cote D'azur, Gordon, St Paul de Vence being less than 20 mins drive. Monaco is only 30 minutes away and offers a different world again to explore. Or shopping in Cannes is great for those in need of serious retail therapy. Ideal rental for large family of multiple families. Catering can be organised and concierge services are available at an extra charge and on request.
Nice airport is 20 mins drive away, but we are no where near the flight path so there is no interference from planes whatsoever. Car Hire is recommended as there is so much to do and see in the area, but if a relaxing holiday is all you want by the pool then local amenities in the village are available at walking distance and the bus stop (public transport excellent in France) is at the end of the road. Local taxi man also available.

Its a lovely family garden with various terraced areas for eating, playing or sunbathing. The swimming pool is newly fitted in 2008 and is 9 x 4 m with a gorgeous deck and stunning views. We have outdoor furniture for dining and lounging. And outdoor games for the kids, including table tennis, boules etc. We are on the edge of the national park so there are some lovely walks that go on for miles - be careful you don't get lost!
The property is easily located for wheel chair access from the side entrance and the car can practically get into the house! There is also a ramp to the pool terrace rather than steps. Most of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and my 88 year old grandmother lived very happily with us!
This area has an abundance of great golf course. 3 mins drive away with have one of the French Riviera's jewels - Opio Valbonne Golf Club. Imagine and 18 hole course, nestled between sea and mountains in the heart of 220 hectares of undulating property shaded by century old trees. This is the oldest in the region and was designed buy a British architect Donald Harradine in 1966. The front nine require precise iron approach shots while the back nine call for long straight shots. The Grand Basitide is also only 5 mins away. The brilliant architect Cabell Robinson set out to build an "all purpose" course for all golfers, even though a number of water hazards might scare a beginner! Well contoured greens but thick rough offering a good excuse to stay on the fairway! A course that certainly offers a fun round to play.
The Royal Mougins course designed by famous Bon Von Hagge. This is a truly magnificent course and worth the time to visit and play a round of truly elegant golf!
Cannes is only 20 mins away and with its Vast yachts the town lives up to its motto, "Life is a festival." People-watching is the activity that brings most visitors to Cannes But the Beaches are a huge draw. Get expensive seaside food and drinks service on hotel sand or opt for the free public beaches, Plages du Midi and de de la Boca. Or opt for the beeches of Antibes or Juan Le Pins. Plenty of choice of both Private and public beaches - remember the cream the Sun is strong in the summer!

Fields of lavender and yellow sunflowers, blue skies and bluer seas. This area of Provene has inspired generations of artists, and drawn famous visitors from Picasso to Winston Churchill, Christian Dior to Catherine Deneuve.

Guestbook for Villa Mimosa
Hi Louisa
Thank you so much for the lovely week we were able to spend in your villa. We all had such a great, relaxing week and everyone thought Villa Mimosa was absolutely stunning. We had everything we needed there and made full use of the pool, table tennis table and dining terrace. It was great to have the outdoor seating area off the lounge too, we spent many evenings there chilling out.
Thanks for your quick response to all my emails before we arrived, you were very helpful with any questions I had, plus the queries regarding where to stay after the villa. Rachel & I had a lovely few days together in Antibes. Thanks also to Michael for helping me sort out the taxi's etc, he was a great help with that, making phone calls for me etc.
We will certainly all recommend Villa Mimosa to our friends and wish you guys all the best. If you are ever in Dubai please get in touch!
Thanks again,
Nicola

"Faboulous location, near the coast but far enough away not to be bothered by crowds of people. Shopping in Cannes was excellent and boat spotting in Anitbes was well worth it! The house was superb thank for all your effort it making sure it was perfect and the sleeping arrangements were as we needed, and thank you for organising Charlottes birthday party also" Mills, Windsor
