Guestbook for Le Petit Bois
We arrived safe and sound and have now settled into your wonderful property. It is so comfortable, and the location is perfect. What a lucky find for us!
I cooked a chicken casserole tonight which included a few fabulous courgettes from the garden plus some of your onions, potatoes and tomatoes (the latter are really juicy and aromatic). I have a favourite spot in the house - that lovely bench in the garden opposite all the wild flowers - and sat there this morning eating a peach from your tree and thinking Deep Thoughts about the world. Can't get much better than that!
Thank you for allowing us into your lovely house. We have rented houses for our summer holidays over many years, and yours is one of the best!
There are, in our experience, two types of holiday home owners. Those who strip away any trace of human habitation and leave you with an antiseptic shell and those who say 'this is our house, please look after it'. You know which category you are in. It makes the whole experience so much more friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a great holiday!
We were very sorry to leave, and I am trying hard not to look at the weather in Le Mans. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.
