Le Chateau is a large medieval house set on the edge of a small rural village in the Pays de la Loire countryside. It is situated at the end of a 'no through' road within it's own secure garden an ideal place for relaxing and enjoying summer bbq's.
The property has 4 double bedrooms and two shower rooms over 3 floors. The lounge has an open fire and a high beamed
ceiling, this is a lovely room in which to unwind and watch television , listen to music or read. The dining room is a large room
with an open fire, high beamed ceiling and a large dining table to seat up to 10 people. The dining room opens onto a modern
kitchen with breakfast table and large double patio doors opening onto a terrace which has a beautiful view of the Forest of
Charnie. The village is in a perfect area for exploring the countryside where you can go walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding,
swimming at the local outdoor pool at Loue or having a swim in the lake at Sille le Guillaume. There is an 18 hole golf course at Sarge-les-le-Mans.
The Alpes Mancelles are a short drive away and a wonderful area to go walking. The city of Le Mans where the 24hour race is held, and it's motor museum is approximately 30minutes away. There is a wonderful 'park and ride' tram service which takes
you directly to the 'old city' with it's stunning cathedral, cobbled streets and excellent restaurants.
For those wishing to attend the 24hour race ( usually June) and the 'classic' which is held every other July. The race track is approximately 30mins away by car, depending on the traffic, and 30mins away from central Le Mans with access via the TGV directly into Paris which takes 59 mins.

The Sarthe Valley is a beautiful unspoilt area of France with many activities to enjoy in the area. The stunning Chateaux of the Loire, the forest for walking, cycling, horse riding , fishing and the equally beautiful Sarthe river. The Alpes Mancelles are near by
as is Le Mans and it's stunning cathedral and cobbled streets. Sit outside one of the many bar/restaurants and take in atmosphere

Nearby are open air swimming pools, historical villages, museums, mini golf, golf and the zoo at Le Fleche.There is a wonderful golf course at nearby Sarge-les-le-Mans, situated in the countryside just minutes away from the Plantagenet city (Le Mans).
