Chalet Le Chevreuil
from £260 /night help
Chalet | 5 bedrooms | sleeps 12
This tasteful and comfortably furnished chalet was built in 2011 in Le Chinaillon, the ski station of Le Grand Bornand.
It is a lovely luxury new-build chalet (2011) with sauna, private outdoor heated pool (June, 15 - October, 1), wifi, 2 min. from the ski-bus, 10 min. from the ski lift, free parking space at the ski lifts and a 15 min walk to the centre of the village. The chalet is located in a tranquil environment, the river Le Torrent du Chinaillon is approx. 25 meters south of the chalet. In summer it is relatively easy to wade through the stream to the other side.
On the ground floor there is a section (kitchen, wash room, bedroom/bathroom with traditional sauna or infrared sauna ) which can e.g. be used by grandparents.
The two kitchens in the chalet are equipped with induction plates, 2 + 1 oven(s) and all kind of kitchen utensils. There is a home entertainment system with Blu-Ray/DVD player, large flat screen TV and iPod dock. Reception of most British, French, Dutch and German TV stations (and a wide array of others) is possible through two satellite receivers.
The adjustable under floor heating assures a pleasant interior climate as does the high yield fireplace, wood is included.
Everything needed for a splendid winter holyday - skiing, cross country, winter walks - is available for you. And if it snows heavy you can sit by the fire place, enjoying a cup of tea or a glass of wine.
In summer you can go walking, hiking, parapente, climbing (via ferrata),VTT, play golf, or you just can have a good rest in your deck chair at the side of the swimming pool while listening to the sound of the little river. Start your day with an outside breakfast in the morning sun or have an outside dinner in the evening. Life is wonderful out there!
