The Pierre & Vacances Le Crotoy residence is south-west-facing and enjoys uninterrupted views over the sea and the bay with direct access to the beach. Right next to shops and restaurants, the residence is inspired by the major architectural features of houses in Le Crotoy: big balconies, huge atrium windows, low-hanging eaves, dormer windows, etc.
The residence has two swimming pools, one heated outside pool (Open between June and September) and another indoor pool.

The Northern France / Picardie region
Le Crotoy is a prime location for relaxing, with its exceptional environment and vast beach which are ideal for enjoying walks and numerous outdoor activities. The resort follows the rhythm of the tides, and the visitor needs to know the site as carelessness can put lives at risk. At low tide, the sea goes out about 14 km from Le Crotoy.
When the tide is coming in, it covers the 14 km in 5 hours and comes in most rapidly between 4 hours and 1 hour before high tide, in a few minutes the tide can carry all before it. When the tide is going out, currents flow out to sea.

Le Crotoy area
Marquenterre Ornithological Park: the Somme Bay nature reserve. 300 hectares of sand and mud-flats that the sea covers twice a day.
The Bird House: a unique place for observing and conversing, where thanks to the knowledge of the guides and proximity to the birds you can recognise each species by their form and colour and learn about their behaviour
Valloires Gardens: on the banks of the Authie, a magnificent landscaped garden containing over 5000 varieties of rose and rare shrubs, laid out at the foot of a Cistercian abbey.
The Somme Bay Railway Line: a 16 km ride in an old steam or diesel train through the salt marshes. Boat trips and walks in the bay with encounters with the seals and discovery of the bay
The Somme valley: with its many ponds, “Archimedean screw wells ”, the Vaux Viewpoint, Abbeville, Samara Park (25 ha), Amiens and its Cathedral and Museum of Picardy, the Naours Caves (refuges transformed into a veritable town).
The bay and valley of the Authie: Fort-Mahon beach, Crécy forest, Etaple sur Mer with its fishing museum, the spectacle of the bay invaded by the sea when the tides are particularly strong, and its floating huts …
How to get there
BY ROAD
From Calais Ferry Port (107km - 67 miles): Leave Calais on the Autoroute A16 direction Boulogne. At the 38km point, pay €5 at the toll. Take the exit number 24 (Le Crotoy) and continue on the D32. Then turn left on to the D940 and finally the Route de Rue for 550m before arriving at Le Crotoy.
