"Nice house in a great location for a relaxing stay"
On the day of arrival we were late - very late, due to traffic. The house owners Yves and Marie-France were very patient and waited for us to arrive to personally hand over the keys and welcome us to their property. They made us feel really at home.
The property was spotless and lived up to the desciption exactly as we had expected.
The location was excellent - with the local beach close by; a short walk to the bakery and also to the supermarket.
The local beach served us fine and we went there every day - but at low tide was rocky. A short walk around the headline though was a wider and longer beach with all tide access to the sea.
The town of Le Croisic was a twenty minute walk away, along pavements with light traffic.
The town had a variety of restaurants and shops, and a very pleasant harbour and sea front to while away the time people watching!
We did find that the town did shut down early - so if shopping, don't leave it too late.
We hired bikes in the town and had some great days out exploring the coast and across the salt marshes to a mediaeval town.
The pace of life was very relaxing.
We had a great week and enjoyed both the house and the surrounding areas.
We would highly recommend this property.
