This is a lovely apartment situated in the beautiful unspoilt village of le Cernix, Crest Voland. Completed in December 2007 by MGM whose reputation for building consistently high quality accommodation is renowned.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms, an en suite shower room, family bathroom and a separate WC. There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen and dining area. A large decked balcony off the dining area provides spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
The apartment has all the usual, high quality mod cons including a large plasma TV, CD/DVD player, ipod docking station and wireless broadband internet.
Within the chalet development there is a large indoor heated swimming pool, large sun deck, secure parking and ski locker.
Le Chalet des Oursons is conveniently located just minutes from the ski lifts or join the blue run earlier and the village amenities where you will find Le Pub, Bars, Restaurants, Deli, Ski hire and Tourist office (see photo)

The chalet des Oursons or chalet of little bear cubs is a self catering luxury apartment and is an ideal base for ski or summer sports.
Sleeps up to 6 in 2 bedrooms (one double 2 singles) plus large L-shaped sofa bed in the lounge.
Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and dining for 6.
Bathroom, en suite shower room and separate WC.
Lounge (with TV/ DVD / CD, ipod docking station and wireless broadband internet. Large decked balcony with table and chairs.
Secure private underground parking and secure ski locker.
Washing machine, Iron and Ironing board, hairdryer and hoover are provided.

There is a large indoor heated swimming pool within the development with a large sun deck with fantastic views across the mountains.
The pool is open in winter and summer from December to March and July to end of August.
The pistes and main chair lift are minutes away and being one of the villages within the Espace Diamant ski region you will have access to 185 km of skiing, made up of 13 Black, 61 Red, 78 Blue and 44 Green Runs.
The Espace Diamant offers the same standard of skiing as the more popular resorts but without the crowds and queues.
6 minutes walk to the local amenities where you find restaurants, pub, deli, ski hire and tourist office. This is a resort where apres ski is low key in this authentic french mountain feel resort.
Conditions
We would require a 50% holding deposit at time of booking with final payment made 1 month prior to arrival.
In addition we require 150 GBP deposit to be used against breakages. This will be returned to you following your departure via internet banking or cheque.

There are an abundance of activities in Winter or Summer in the Haute-Savoie region. The region encompasses a large part of the French Alps and consists of 110 resorts.
Activities include Skiing, Hiking or Walking, Water Sports, Cycling, Golf and Horse riding.
The Le Cernix / Crest Voland area
The apartment is located in the village of Le Cernix which is next to Crest Voland, a pretty village 20 mins drive from the exclusive and bustling resort of Megeve.
It is at the heart of The Espace Diamant ski area, situated at the foot of Mont Blanc. The area has 185 km of alpine slopes and comprises the five villages of Les Saisies, Crest-Voland, Notre Dame de Bellecombe, Flumet and Praz sur Arly.
The resort gained its first lift in 1951 and has grown steadily ever since, the creation of the link to Les Saises in 1985 formed the original 'Espace Crystal' ski region. The "Espace Cristal" now links to Les Saisies and Crest-Voland - Cohennoz, to form "Espace Diamant". From December 2005 this area has also been linked to Notre-Dame de Bellecombe, Flumet and Praz sur Arly.
It is ideal for families and couples, the slopes suit beginners and intermediate level skiers. There are also black runs for the more advanced skiers but is mainly made up of blue and red runs.

The slopes are unspolit and uncrowded and the Apres ski is fairly low key. There are 12 Bars, 9 Restaurants and one night club in Crest Voland. In Le Cernix (a few minutes from Crest Voland) there are several restaurants, a few bars, deli and Le Pub.
The area has also a large Nordic network of cross country trails which run through the heavily wooded countryside surrounding the village.
There is plenty to enjoy in the summer too. Lying on the “Route des Grandes Alpes”, Val d’Arly is the perfect base for excursions into the surrounding countryside, whether by car, on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback. Other activities in the area include golf, white water sports and fishing.
The heated swimming pool is also open in Winter and Summer seasons and has a large sundeck outside with lovely views of the mountains.

We had a fantastic time. Plenty of snow, 4 days of glorious sunny weather. Ski slopes well prepared and great choice of runs to cater for our variable abilities. The village is charming, people friendly and local food great. Your appartament is a real home from home; comfortable, lovely decorated and warm. We had everything we needed. Thank you very much for allowing us to spend the holidays there. We would like to come back again next year.

The apartment was great and just right for us; having two showers made life easier on return from the slopes. Kitchen and living room great. Also having two keys made life easier when we weren't all together. The skiing was perfect for our level and especially for teenage boys. The slopes were very close (I presumed that the 5/6mins was an exaggeration, but no...) and it was great to ski back in. The shops were close too and more than adequate for the week.

DATES:
Weekly lettings generally run from Saturday afternoon to before lunchtime the following Saturday. However, there is flexibility and any required dates and times of departure should be emailed to us and we will do our best to accommadate you.
BOOKINGS:
A booking shall only be considered "confirmed" when we are in receipt of the deposit. A confirmation will be sent via email.
PAYMENTS:
Payments accepted by cheque, cash, bankers draft, bank transfer, postal order in GBP or EUR.
Initial 50% payment required at the time of booking with the remaining 50% balance payable 4 weeks prior to arrival. If the booking is made less than 4 weeks before occupation then 100% of the payment should be paid at the time of booking.
CANCELLATIONS:
In the unlikely event that you need to cancel your holiday, you should let us know immediately and we will make every effort to re-let the property. If the property is successfully let 85% of the monies paid will be refunded and 15% will be retained to cover administrative and advertising costs. If the property is not re-let, all monies paid will be forfeited.
SECURITY DEPOSIT:
A security deposit of £150 will be taken at the time of booking to cover the cost of any breakages or damage to the property. This will be refunded within 7 days of the end of the letting period or sooner if mde via internet banking.
BEDLINEN AND END OF STAY CLEANING:
Bedlinen provided upon request - 11.50 EUR per person (to cover laundry costs) Includes sheet, duvet, pillowcases, 2 towels (1 bath 1 hand) per person. Please pay in cash to our on-site manager upon departure.
Leave the apartment as you find it or pay our onsite manager 55 euros to take care of it for you.
