Home description
Our spacious terraced town house in Le Bugue is decorated and furnished to a high standard to allow your stay to be as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The house is well appointed, having all amenities, sleeping up to six people in three large bedrooms, and with two large bathrooms. We do have a travel cot available for young children on request.
On the ground floor is the entrance hall with a large storage cupboard for coats, outdoor gear, etc. This leads into the dining area then the light and airy salon, where there is a television, DVD, radio/CD player. We can receive an assortment of both UK and French television channels, plus BBC radio. French windows from the salon lead out onto the large South facing terrace which overlooks the pretty river Vézère and parkland on the opposite bank. On the terrace is a table and chairs, since it is very pleasant to eat, drink, and be merry in the open air, plus there is an electric blind which gives shade for those who do not like to sit in direct sunlight. All the windows have shutters which keeps the house cool in summer. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, etc.
On the first floor is the master bedroom, with a king size bed, a second bedroom with two single beds, and a large bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin, bidet, and w.c.
The third bedroom is on the second floor, and has a standard double bed. The second bathroom is adjacent and comprises a shower, washbasin, bidet, and w.c. All the bedrooms have adequate hanging and storage space, and a hairdryer is available in the house. There are electric fans in each of the bedrooms. The house is equipped with wi-fi internet, and there is plenty of free parking very nearby.
The thriving old market town of Le Bugue, with its historic lanes and buildings, creates an interesting ambiance. The bustling Tuesday market provides the holidaymaker with all the sights and smells one associates with life in France, and is just two minutes walk from the house. There are all amenities including butchers, banks, restaurants, pharmacies and bakers.
