Cantik Visi is superbly situated in the hills of Les Alb้eres with panoramic views of the Plaine du Roussillon and the M้editerranean Sea in the distance. The apartment has been re- decorated and furnished to a high standard and will provide you with a home away from home . Situated in an area of outstanding beauty, this is a get away from it all retreat from the stresses of modern living. We can guarantee you a holiday with peace, quiet and tranquility while still a short drive away from everything you need. The apartment itself is warm and welcoming with three double bedrooms , all bedrooms have walk in wardrobes. There is a bathroom which provides a bathtub, shower and lots of storage units. The Languedoc-Roussillon / Pyrenees-Orientales region
Cantik Visi is in the wine growing region of Le Roussillon in the southeastern tip of France near the Spanish border and the Meditteranean Sea. Le Roussillon is well known for enjoying up to 300 days of sunshine per year and boasts long sandy beaches, great hiking , walking and nature trails , wonderful mediterranean cuisine with lots of the ingredients being grown locally. The Roussillon is one of the largest wine producing regions of France and has many small domains and caves to visit. There is a wealth of national monuments to visit in our region all within a 2 hours drive radius. - Carcassonne a wonderful walled medieval city ( 1 and half hour drive away ) - Castelnou voted as of one the most beautiful villages of France - Collioure ( 25kms away) - Ceret (6 kms away) with its bi-weekly market in summer and modern art museum - Abbaye de St Martin du Canigou (45kms away) - Palace of the king of mallorca and the Castillet in Perpignan - Barcelona on a daytrip visit ( only 160 kms away ) - Visit Dali's museum at figueres and his house in Cadaques in Spanish Catalunya - Romans ruins , Dolmens , the Via Domitia - Perpignan and its narrow pedestrian shopping streets - The Pyrenees less than 2 hours drive away with Font romeu,Lac de Bouillouse and Matemale - Little yellow train which goes up to the highest train station in France through stunning scenery - All the sporting activities you could dream of , the Pyrenees orientales is an outdoor person dreams come true. - All through the summer every thursdays, nightly free music all though the streets of Perpinya la Catalana - All the fun for the kids at Waterland St cyprien,Funfair at Argeles sur mer all through the summer,Sigean wilderness park - Without forgetting the real friendliness of the locals and the proximity of some beautiful unspoilt wilderness areas.
Le Boulou / Les Alberes area
Le Boulou is a town that will cater for all your holiday requirements with supermarkets, delicatessens, bars, restaurants, a weekly market, tourist info centre, and of course the hydrothermal spa, which will revive and replenish everyone. The town boasts an open air olympic sized swimming pool open in July and August, tennis courts are available all year round as well as weekly music, arts and cooking classes during the summer months. Le Boulou is 8 Kilometers from the Spanish border town of La Jonquera with a wide variety of better value shopping. Cantik visi is a mere 5 kilometers away from the famous GR10 which follows the Pyrenées from the Méd to the Atlantic. We are in a hikers paradise with high mountains within an hour and half distance and Forestry department trails on our doorstep from where you can explore Les Albéres. There is a swimming lake about 5 minutes drive away , with watersports facilities a small restaurant and a tree climbing experience for a change from the beach.

Further details indoors: The living area is a large, light, and comfortably furnished room with satellite TV, DVD - with many movies in English and English speaking TV channels- overhead fans, and leather sofas seating four. We recommend that you bring your own DVDs and Videos or local rentals can be arranged on arrival. We have a large selection of paperbacks which are provided free of charge. The kitchen area is open plan and fully fitted with large fridge freezer ,washing machine , dishwasher , microwave, electric hob, toaster , kettle and coffee machine,ironing board and iron.The dining area has a large wood table that can seat six people. ************* The owners live on site and are available to give any advice you might require*************
Further details outdoors: *The swimming pool is a large and above ground. It is 7 by 3 metres with a terraced area with sun loungers for 4. The views from the pool are breathtaking, allowing you to enjoy and appreciate uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean sea 11 Miles away.*There is a gas BBQ and outdoor seating for 6, and there is a small herb garden you can use for any cooking needs.

*Weekly rentals check in on saturdays after 4pm , and check out is 10 am.Off season, check in can be arranged any day of the week to allow for cheaper midweek flights.*A 25%(non refundable in case of cancellation) deposit is required on booking , with the remaining sum required 8 weeks prior to arrival. A further £150 reimbursable security deposit is also required on arrival and will be returned on the day of departure, subject to any breakages, losses etc....
