The North East Italy region

Trentino Alto Adige is the perfect destination for those who love nature and the mountains. It offers incredible and untouched landscapes. The region is traversed by The Dolomites which are “the most beautiful natural architecture of the world” according to Le Corbusier which named them one of the world's unique beauties.

The northern part of the Lake Garda is the perfect place for dynamic holidays and sport lovers in particular during the summer. On the other hand, the mountains and the valleys that surround the area are ideal locations for hiking. In addition, our offers include the possibility to book a fantastic holiday in luxury resorts, enjoying the finest cuisine and provided with every comfort to relax.

Trentino Alto Adige is a breathtaking land of saw-toothed ridges and snow-capped peaks, alpine meadows and glittering waterfalls, popular ski resorts and immaculate medieval towns. In addition, it offers a wide range of outdoor pursuits and winter sporting activities like guided tours, food tasting, walking and cycling tours.

The area, Folgaria Lavarone and Luserna, three municipalities, share the same history, ranging from early Bavarian settlements and the fights to become a self-governed province - the so called “Magnifica Comunità” - to the present. Traditional values are of utmost importance to the inhabitants. The Cimbrian language for instance, an ancient Bavarian dialect, is still spoken in this region, particularly in the municipality of Luserna.

The enchanting local sceneries with their woods and pastures bear witness to a rather recent past, the First World War. Fortresses such as Forte Gschwent in Lavarone, Forte Cherle, Forte Sommo Alto and Forte Dosso delle Somme in Folgaria are valuable testimonies of this rather mournful era of the past. Tourism on this high-altitude plateau is flourishing in both winter and summer. Here you can relax and embark on beautiful mountain bike trips or stunning hikes. And in winter a ski circuit is within easy reach.

Lavarone Cappella

Enjoy gliding along the 100 km of the Skitour dei Forti, on slopes suited to all skiing skills, from beginners through to experts, with guaranteed artificial snow coverage all the way. The latest in ski-lift technology will have you up on the slopes in no time. Choose our 'slow ski' options and discover legendary pistes (Salizzona, Agonistica, Avez del Prinzipe).

The ski resort is specially tailored to the needs of our younger visitors: family hotels, six school camps, nursery facilities, baby park and supervised kids' activities. And what's more,80 km of Nordic ski-runs, plenty of open space for snow-shoe outings and cutting-edge ice skating facilities.

Shopping, fun and food & wine. Espresso or cappuccino and a slice of apple cake make for an ideal start to a day on the snow.

And for lunch choose between the many traditional dishes, maybe while enjoying the view from the terrace of a high-Alpine refuge. One thing you absolutely can't miss is shopping: spend some of your stay browsing the shops for those eye-catching or unusual items, be they local specialities or anything else that takes your fancy!

In the afternoon relax and sip an aperitif or Vin Brulè listening to some good music and strolling along the streets of the town centre, where the shops offer plenty of local produce and crafts items along with the best of Italian Style.

And for dinner treat yourself to the wide-ranging local cuisine accompanied by a fine glass of Trentino wine.

Then there are the wine bars, pubs, micro-breweries and discos for fun and socialising.

And don't go home without having tried the local specialities: Speck, Vezzena cheese, honey, Strudel, wines and grappas.
