Drumtochty Stables are located in a quiet secluded scottish glen. This Self catering 2 bedroom apartment is located on the ground floor of a historic stable conversion. The accommodation comprises of 1 double and 1 twin bedded room and the lounge setee converts to a comfortable double bed . The village of Auchenblae is situated 2 Km at the head of the glen while Stonehaven, Montrose and Banchory are within 20 minutes by car. giving easy access to all amenities. Ideal for romantic getaways,hill walking, cycling, sea and river fishing, and for the golfers there is a 9 hole golf course near by while Carnoustie and St Andrews are within 1 hours travel. Royal Deeside the ski resorts and Scotlands east coast are all within easy access..

Drumtocty is located in a beautiful glen, ideal for honeymooners,hill walkers cyclist or just wanting to relax.
Stonehaven has great many restuarents,recommend the Carron for something special,Dunnottar castle is
worth a vist.

Aberdeen the granit city is easy reached by car.

The accommodation consists of an entrance vestibule, Spacious lounge with open plan kitchen fitted to the highest standard. Two bedroom one with a double bed and one with twin beds both have door access to the rear garden Barbecue area. The bathroom is fitted with a spa bath for relaxing after a day on the hills or just to unwind. The lounge setee can be converted to provide an additional double bed

Drumtochty Glen is located to the east of the highlands with Royal Deeside and Balmoral Castle the queens summer retreat to the North with Braemar to the north west. The A93 to Blairgowire from Braemar traverses Cairnwell at 2200 feet the highest public road in the U.K.
Speyside to the north and east hosts the Scottish whisky trail while Inverness and Loch Ness are an easy day trip.

The Laurencekirk area

For the nature lovers the drumtochty glen vistor can not help but be struck by the variety of trees which crowd the hill side, one of which is believed to be the largest sitka spruce in britain measuring 6.7 metres in girth and height of 50metres.

Visit the Whisky Trail uisghe beatha the water of live. Over 500 years history give the range of rich malts we know today.The speyside distilleries trail leads through 7 working distilleries. Nearest Distillery to Drumtochty stables is Fettercain at about 15km.
