To the South, Polpero and Looe have some of the most spectacular coastal walks in the area. Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor are within easy reach as are several magnificent National Trust properties and gardens.
The popular Eden Project is also easily accessible. Historic Launceston, once the capital of Cornwall, offers a medieval castle, a selection of shops, a very rare Steam Railway and Priory ruins.
