Home description
Situated amid the peace & tranquility of the beautiful Cornish Countryside is Higher Scarsick appealing to both Couples & Families.
The cottage has been renovated over recent years and has retained many original features, including oak beams, stone inglenooks and a bread oven. It is well furnished and most windows double glazed making it very cosy and warm.
Step outside to a large garden where you can hear the birds singing and enjoy the stunning views, and if you care to take a short walk down the lane there is a small stream which is particularly beautiful in the spring and autumn.

Cornwall has miles of beautiful coastline to explore and has a warm sunny climate during the summer months. Cornwall is also famed for its great walks and fantastic water sports facilities, steeped in maritime history there are many smugglers coves to explore along its dramatic coastlines and inlets.
Launceston / Treneglos area
Treneglos is midway between the towns of Launceston, Bude and Camelford and is a delightful place to spend your holiday surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside yet only a short drive to the wonderful sandy beaches on the North Cornwall coast. It is very convenient for the variety of tourist attractions and leisure pursuits Cornwall has to offer - for example the Eden Project is within easy reach.
How to get there
From Launceston continue westerly for about 2 miles on the A30 until reaching A395 junction known as Kennards House. Turn onto the slip road for A395 (signed for North Cornwall) . Continue on A395 for approx 8 miles to Hallworthy. Just past the Wilsey Down Hotel turn right signposted Canworthy Water. Continue for nearly 2 miles and turn right at Bethel Chapel. Continue for approx 1.5 miles until you come to a junction with a Ford ½ mile sign - bear right here going past the field with a wire fence and the Higher Scarsick farmhouse is on the 2nd left after a few yards. Drive in over the cattle grid.
