The Paphos District

15 mins drive to local beaches in Akamas National Park, fabulous for diving, boat trips and exploring. Here are some of the finest fish restaurants too!

3 Golf Courses 30 mins away from the Villa. Ideal location for Diving, Scuba and sailing in the local bay. Walking in the Akamas National park, along with Mountain biking and climbing.

40 mins from Paphos airport. 10 mins walk to Greek village (Droushia), mini market and Tavernas. 15 min drive down to Latchi harbour, beaches and more restaurants.

Latchi area

Exploring The Akamas Peninsula. Chosen by Aphrodite for meetings with her lover Adonis. This truly beautiful and vast National Park is teeming with all kinds of flora and fauna, including rare endemic flowers. Scenery varies from the challenging, such as Avakas Gorge, with its sheer cliffs, to the tranquil, including the beaches at Lara Bay (one of the last Mediterranean breeding grounds of the green turtle) and Fontana Amorosa Bay.

Diving. Latchi offers some of the best scuba diving in Cyprus, with the sea sheltered from the prevailing winds.
Horse Riding. Horses can be hired at a number of locations at any time of the year. Paphos (Pafos).

Birthplace of Aphrodite, featuring attractions such as the House of Dionysus, with its superb mosaics, the Odeon Theatre and the Tombs of Kings. This World Heritage site - split into a hill town and a picturesque harbour area - also has plenty for children, as well as night-life, shopping and superb beaches.

Golf. The Tsada Golf Club is just minutes away and features fairways lined with fruit trees and grape vines. Its elevated position ensures a breeze that makes it comfortable to play even in summer. There’s tuition available and the club has a pro shop, driving range and practice areas. There’s also a swimming pool and tennis court.

The Troodos Mountains. At the height of summer these mountains can provide an escape from the heat and in the winter it is an excellent skiing centre. There are plenty of hiking trails, richly decorated Byzantine churches, picturesque villages, and acres of oak, maple and pine forests.
