Arsinoe 3 Beachfront Bungalow
About the home
The villa is the length of the front garden from the beach - no sea view over the roof-tops, no trek down steep cobbled streets with your beach gear, no busy main sea-front road to cross - just ten paces (ok, fifteen if you've got short legs) and you're on the beach, with the sparkling Mediterranean less than 20 metres away.
It is set right on the famous Latchi beach, in close proximity to the pretty village of Polis, and within easy distance of Pafos and its international airport. It has Akamas National Park as a backdrop and the Baths of Aphrodite a short distance away.

Further details indoors:
The main room, like the rest of the villa, is bright and airy, and very tastefully furnished. The lounge area, which looks out onto the sea, is laid out with settees and has a television and video player with a collection of videos, while the dining area has a table and comfortable chairs for your evening meal.
The two bedrooms offer comfortable and stylish sleeping arrangements, with spacious fitted wardrobes and drawer space in both. Both have good quality soft furnishings and, unlike many hotels, plenty of coat hangers! The front bedroom - which, like the lounge, has an unrestricted view of the sea - contains a double bed, while in the rear bedroom are two singles. Two further sleeping places are offered by the lounge settees, which convert easily into beds.
The kitchen is well equipped, with a fridge-freezer and microwave, plus a washing machine, so you don't need to use all your baggage allowance on suitcases full of clean clothes. The bathroom has toilet, bath, shower and cupboard space, and is fitted with an extractor fan.
All rooms are fitted with air conditioning to allow you to enjoy the hottest of days, and all necessary pillows, cushions, linen, duvets, cutlery, glasses and crockery are provided.
The shutters and fly screens in every room are configured so that you can open them independently to retain security while allowing a cool, refreshing breeze and the sound of the sea to waft into the room. For additional security there is also a small safe for your use.
Further details outdoors:
The tiled patio is accessed via French doors in the lounge and is equipped with loungers and deckchairs, and the back garden has a drive with parking, a washing line and storage for all garden furniture.

We have just returned from an 8 day stay at this villa celebrating my husband's 50th birthday and had a lovely time. A few little problems to start with which were dealt with efficiently by Maria & George-one being a plumbing issue which turned out to be next door's problem & the key safe code was not reset back to the original code by the previous guests. The villa has everything that is required to make your stay comfortable-and even has beach towels now available to use. The beach is literally a short walk from the villa-with just the public footpath to cross. We had a hire car which took us over mountain tracks to the blue lagoon-an area of coast renowned for its crystal clear waters-which we visited again on a boat we hired from Latchi harbour. One of the best memories of the holiday was watching a storm at night-out to sea-an unforgettable experience. Would definitely recommend Mel & Cec Gotts April 2013 |

Wow , what can I say! You don't have to travel to the Caribbean for your own piece of paradise. We have just returned from our second year at Latsi Beach Bungalows. We loved it so much our friends rented the next bungalow and fell in love with the area too. The bungalow is one of around 14 spread out along the very peaceful beach even in August. Open the glass doors and step out onto a tiled terrace with a shaded wooden awning with table and chairs. The garden is really an extension of the beach with lots of palm trees. They are not yet fully grown but provide enough shade from the hot sun. At the bottom of the garden is a nice raised decking where you can sunbathe or sit and watch the world pass slowly by. Between the end of the garden and the sea is a lovely path which takes you to Latsi (15 min walk) in one direction and Polis (30 min) in the other. That is in the August heat. You don't need to hire a car to get about. The garden is great for nature watching. There were a few little lizards but one bigger one who was there last year so it felt like he was our own pet. There were shrieks of delight and lots of picture taking when we saw a chameleon. Last year we did see a turtle on the beach but we were not lucky enough this year. This bungalow is exceptionally well maintained and has all the kitchen equipment you need for a self catering holiday. The lounge area has a comfy sofa and chair, not that we spent any time inside at all except to watch a little bit of the Olympics on the television. There is a good selection of books, magazines etc. There is also a needle and thread kit. Nice personal touches. There is also a dining table and chairs in the bungalow. Leaning on the breakfast bar in the kitchen area and looking beyond the lounge into the garden is an amazing view. It's quite breathtaking. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are really comfortable. There is plenty storage space with lots of coat hangers. The main entrance to the bungalow has a parking space for a car and a nice little garden area. The whole area is delightful. Considering Latsi has a lovely marina all the surrounding restaurants are very reasonably priced. Polis has lots of character and charm with a bustling little square in the evening. Here too, all the restaurants are well priced with many offering set menus. We are already planning a third visit. |
