Beachfront Bungalow Arsinoe
About the home
The villa is the length of the front garden from the beach - no sea view over the roof-tops, no trek down steep cobbled streets with your beach gear, no busy main sea-front road to cross - just ten paces (ok, fifteen if you've got short legs) and you're on the beach, with the sparkling Mediterranean less than 20 metres away.
It is set right on the famous Latchi beach, in close proximity to the pretty village of Polis, and within easy distance of Pafos and its international airport. It has Akamas National Park as a backdrop and the Baths of Aphrodite a short distance away.

Further details indoors:
The main room, like the rest of the villa, is bright and airy, and very tastefully furnished. The lounge area, which looks out onto the sea, is laid out with settees and has a television and video player with a collection of videos, while the dining area has a table and comfortable chairs for your evening meal.
The two bedrooms offer comfortable and stylish sleeping arrangements, with spacious fitted wardrobes and drawer space in both. Both have good quality soft furnishings and, unlike many hotels, plenty of coat hangers! The front bedroom - which, like the lounge, has an unrestricted view of the sea - contains a double bed, while in the rear bedroom are two singles. Two further sleeping places are offered by the lounge settees, which convert easily into beds.
The kitchen is well equipped, with a fridge-freezer and microwave, plus a washing machine, so you don't need to use all your baggage allowance on suitcases full of clean clothes. The bathroom has toilet, bath, shower and cupboard space, and is fitted with an extractor fan.
All rooms are fitted with air conditioning to allow you to enjoy the hottest of days, and all necessary pillows, cushions, linen, duvets, cutlery, glasses and crockery are provided.
The shutters and fly screens in every room are configured so that you can open them independently to retain security while allowing a cool, refreshing breeze and the sound of the sea to waft into the room. For additional security there is also a small safe for your use.
Further details outdoors:
The tiled patio is accessed via French doors in the lounge and is equipped with loungers and deckchairs, and the back garden has a drive with parking, a washing line and storage for all garden furniture.

The Paphos region

Pafos, with its pleasant harbour and medieval fort, combines a cosmopolitan holiday resort, spectacular countryside and historical sites.
The region offers the possibility of enjoying both sea and mountains, as well as getting a taste of the island's culture with its many archaeological sites.
Feel the romance in the air in the land where Aphrodite, the ancient Greek goddess of love and beauty, once roamed.
Swim in the sea by the rocks known as Petra tou Romiou, where she was believed to have risen from the waves, make a pilgrimage to her sanctuary at Kouklia, or visit the grotto near Polis where she was supposed to have bathed.
The Latchi / Arsinoe Beach area
The village of Latchi is a ten-minute walk away along the beach-side path, and has a picturesque harbour with numerous water-side tavernas, some converted from old stone carob warehouses. They specialise in fish and local produce.
For keen walkers and serioud cyclists the nearby Akamas National Park offers walks, sea views and bracing air. The park is ideal for nature lovers to explore its fantastic landscape and to discover the endless variety of flowers and birds. Akamas is included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage.
If you feel like a bit of indulgence on your way back fromt eh Akamas, call in at the magnificent Anassa Hotel for a cream tea to rival the Ritz' but with a stunning view.
Only a short drive or pleasant walk from the villa is the picturesque small town of Polis, where an ancient city kingdom once stood. Now an attractive, popular resort, Polis has kept its original character, and the local tavernas in the pedestrian zone and around the pretty central square offer a large variety of food to suit all tastes and pockets.

My wife & I spent 2 weeks at the villa in Oct 2010, the weather was fantastic for that time of year. The view from the garden was the largest swimming pool ever!!
It was very peaceful sunbathing in the garden when not venturing out anywhere, ideal relaxation.
The local amenities were very good, only a 5 minute walk along the beach footpath, the shops have everything you would need & the bars/restaurants at Latchi marina are fantastic value for money Rob Mary Usher
I was there with my family in September 2010. It was great! the location ,the villa, the time and view. I was there with my parents , our 8 months son and my sister. Everybody loved it. The landscape is even better than the picture. I definitely go back! The villa has 2 bedroom (one with a great view to the sea) and one with a view to the complex yard) ; from the kitchen while you prepare coffee you can see the sea. The bay is quiet and
you feel that you have the hole beach for you!
The bungalow was excellent, clean and in good repair, we loved getting
up in the morning and wondering on to the patio for a cup of coffee
and taking in the warm sea air and listening to the waves. 18/7 -1/8/10 Clare Wood
When arriving at the Villa we were impressed by the quiteness of the surroundings. The villa itself was exactly as advertised, clean and homely. We spent a lot of time in the garden enjoying the views and taking a dip in the sea to cool down, then wondered back to the deck area in the garden. The peace and quiet was fantastic and really gave us the type of holiday we were looking for.Charlotte Sally June 2010
