The Paphos region

Paphos has been inhabited since the Neolithic period. It was a centre of the cult of Aphrodite and of pre-Hellenic fertility deities. Aphrodite's legendary birthplace was on this island, where her temple was erected by the Myceneans in the 12th century B.C.

The majestic crystal-clear water conditions are ideal for life by the sea, The Akamas offers one of the best spots for sailing, fishing and scuba diving in the Mediterranean. Amazing mountain bike trails and hiking allows you to experience the area to the fullest.

The area is renowned for its cultural programmes which include traditional Cypriot festivals, music and arts events held throughout the year. Minthis Hills golf course is only a 15 minute drive away from the resort.

The pretty harbour of Latchi and the bustling centre of Polis are just an 8 minutes drive away. Here you will find many good restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, banks, post office, children’s play centers, go-carting, water-sports, diving beaches, everything required to satisfy every taste.

The Latchi / Droushia area

Latchi is a picturesque fishing village which stretches 3km along the North West coast of the Island and lies on the edge of the beautiful Akamas National Park. The pretty harbour offers a number of excellent fresh fish tavernas that have turned out to be famous across the Island.

The coastal road separates the clear blue sea, pretty shoreline and local amenities from the surrounding lush green countryside. At the harbour, sit back and enjoy a seafood meal in one of the harbour side tavernas and watch the boats come and go.
