This villa is set in the centre of a small Spanish village called Las Herrerias just minutes outside of the coastal village and marina of Villaricos.
This is a perfect property for a very large group of for multiple families and friends to club together and rent.
The accommodation of the villa is split across two floors. The top floor consists of sleeping accommodation with a master double en suite bedroom which is air-conditioned and has a terrace overlooking the pool.

The Costa de Almeria region
The region of Almeria is one of the most charming and unspoilt areas in south-eastern Spain. Enjoying the sunniest and warmest climate in the whole of Europe, it is known as ‘El Rincon del Embrujo’ or ‘the corner of enchantment’. This is the real Spain!
Las Herrerias area
Mojacar village is a 10 minute drive away is an idyllic mix of sugar-cubed whitewashed buildings, cobbled winding streets and beautiful Moorish architecture. The main square looks across to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is filled with street cafes, bars, boutiques and shops. Take a stroll through the maze of cobbled streets hidden behind the main square and you will find some wonderful restaurants and bars.
The area has many archaeological sites revealing Phoenician, Roman and Carthaginian histories. Visits to the local markets are very popular: Mojacar on Wednesdays, Garrucha on Fridays and Vera on Saturdays.
The nearest beach is Villaricos which is 5 minute drive. There you will also find many bars, shops and restaurants
How to get there
Almeria airport is only 55mins drive away. Majority of cheap airline fly in and out of Almeria. Easyjet, Monach and BA fly from most uk airports to Almeria.
Airport pickups can be arranged at reasonable rates. We do however recommend that you rent a car. This will give you total freedom to explore the beautiful Almeria coast.

Further details indoors: There are also a further four twin en suite bedrooms leading off from a huge landing on the top floor. All of the bedroom furnishings are modern with newly fitted en suite bathrooms.
The ground floor consists of a single room with en suite, and also a family bedroom. This spacious room was originally two rooms that have been knocked through to create a useful family bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, plus there is space for an additional bed if needed. This is a very useful set-up for families travelling with toddlers or younger children who prefer to be close by. Again this room has its own bathroom.
All of the bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans (master bedroom also has air-con) and the exceptionally thick stone walls help to keep the rooms cooler in summer.
On the ground floor there are also two separate and spacious lounges both equipped with English TV and a DVD player. There are also two separate dining areas. This range of living spaces means that there is always room to relax and have your own space even when holidaying as a large group.
The kitchen is very modern and large enough to cater for a full house. It is fully equipped with a dish washer, oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, washing machine etc…
Further details outdoors: The swimming pool and terraced area is accessed via French doors leading from the main lounge.
The outside area is based around a lovely 10m x 5m swimming pool with Roman-style entrance steps.
There is plenty of space for the whole house to lounge around the pool and soak up the sun in private. There are plenty of seating areas both in the open and in the shade.
As you enter the pool area via the lounge there is a large covered terrace with a plenty of dining seats to enjoy all your al fresco meals.
There is also a fully operational outside bar with fridges (Barrels can be supplied on request). There is also a large BBQ to accompany your wine and beer from your terrace bar!
(please note that the pictures of the pool were taken on the 20th January 2009 and the low position of the winter sun creates the shadow. From April the sun will be directly above and the pool area will be in the sun for the whole day)
