Home description

The villa, La Casa De Sueños, is situated in the quiet hamlet of Oroteanda Baja in the South of Tenerife over looking Guargacho , Las Galletas and with views of the Atlantic Ocean and Mount Teide. As a full rental it comfortably sleeps up to 16 Adults with 3 twin rooms and 5 doubles all with en suite facilities. Bookings can also be made for the main villa only which will sleep up to 10 adults with 1 twin room and 4 doubles. All of the bedrooms have been recently refurbished in a contempory Canarian style.

The villa has a heated outdoor swimming pool plus an indoor Jacuzzi. Around the swimming pool also boasts a raised terrace with prupose built bar-b-que and hot plate and an additional outdoor eating area. Of an evening the courtyard and terraces can be illuminated to maximise your outdoor enjoyment of the villa.

Bedding is provided and fitted along with bathroom towels, for stays over 7 nights these are refreshed every 7 days.

The lounge, situated on the 1st floor, has a stunning terrace from which you can enjoy the seaviews during the day and a fantastic sunset of an evening. Inside the lounge area, which comfortably seats 8 adults, there is an LCD TV, which receives a selection of English satellite channels along with a DVD player which also plays CDs. The dining facilities, within this open plan reception room, seat the maximum occupancy of 16.

There is a separate large family kitchen in the villa which comes equipped with breakfast bar, dish washer, washing machine, microwave oven, large fridge freezer and all other normal kitchen facilities.

The villa is within 10 minutes drive of the popular resort of Los Cristianos and 15 minutes of Playa de las Americas where, at both, a vast array of restaurants, bars and shops can be found. The nearest large supermarket can be found, by car, within a 5 to 10 minute drive. The two 27 hole golf courses (Amarilla Golf and Royal Tenerife)and 9 hole practice run course (Palm Mar) are all within a 15 minute drive. Addtionally within the same proximity the exclusive areas of Fanabe and Adeje are located where the luxury boutiques and the cafe lifestyle is something to be experienced.

The nearest beach is Las Galletas, only 10 min drive to the south, which also boasts a marina and still is home to many local fisherman where you can still buy fish fresh from the boats. Additionally the recently formed sand beach of Los Cristianos village can be found slightly further around the coast, again with another great harbour to explore.

Reina Sofia Airport (Tenerife South) is only 20 minutes away and is serviced by budget and commercial airline brands on a regular basis. A full taxi from the airport to the villa will cost around 15 euros depending on time of day although we strongly recommend, to maximise your holiday experience, hiring a car(s).

The Tenerife region

With an excellent all year round sunny and warm climate, its vibrant nightlife ,stunning beaches and dramatic volcanic landscape, Tenerife has proved itself to be a very popular holiday destination. There are six golf courses in the south of the island and an array of various excursions, including, Whale and Dolphin Safari, Scuba Diving, Water and Animal Fun Parks can also be found locally.

Las Galletas area

Las Galletas and its surrounding areas have an excellent selection of shops and local restaurants. Scuba diving and the resort of Golf del Sur are nearby and horse riding is in the immediate vecinity.

How to get there

As standard we meet you at Reina Sofia (Tenerife South) Airport but we cannot transport individuals or luggage. We strongly advise car hire and you can follow us to the villa, or we can provide directions to your taxis. A full taxi from Reina Sofia airport to the villa will cost about 15 Euros depending on time of day. We recommend, from personal use and previous guests, to use a company called AutoReisen who have their desk within baggage claim at the airport so you can get the keys for your car while waiting for your luggage to come through.

Here at La Casa de Suenos we require a non-refundable deposit of 10% (with a minimum amount of £200). This can be paid electronically or in person to a UK bank account or electronically to a Euro account. Full payment is required 6 weeks before arrival date.

We additionally require a refundable security/key deposit of £200 to be paid at the same time as the balance (6 weeks before arrival date). This will be returned following your departure if all is satisfactory with the villa.

For the benefit of booking flights and additional transport please note check-in time on day of arrival is 3pm (local time) and check-out on day of departure is 11am (local time).
