The Larnaca District
Larnaca enjoys a Mediterranean climate, with abundant sunshine year round. Long dry summers and mild winters are separated by short autumn and spring seasons. Summer is a time of high temperatures with cloudless skies, but the sea breeze creates a pleasant atmosphere in the coastal areas. Winters are mild, with some rain and snow on Troodos Mountains.
Facing the Lebanon and set in a wide bay is Larnaca, the shopping is excellent and the sea front is wide and paved with many outdoor restaurants which specialise in Cyprus cuisine. Larnaca has the best of both worlds, it is on the coast, with all that implies, is an interesting and charming destination both modern and old world.
The whole town sits on ancient ruins and here and there you will see empty plots where digs are either in progress or have been left for future excavation.
Larnaca area
Pervolia is a small, relaxed and quiet village but offers all necessary amenities you could possibly want on holiday. It is 14 km from the shopping centre of Larnaca, and 9 km from the airport and its proximity to stretches of untouched & secluded beaches mean that it is an ideal location for tourists and residents alike. This picturesque village boasts breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and local beaches.
Here, you can enjoy the traditional Cypriot way of life together with all the modern conveniences of banks, shops and supermarkets. Pervolia also boasts a beautiful paved village square which is located next to the old church. The square comes to life in the evening when the locals and tourists come together while enjoying local food and wine in the tavernas and restaurants.
The smells of local dishes fill the air, tempting the hungry visitors to dine at any one of the quaint establishments that line the main streets. Combine the above with an area of outstanding natural beauty and you have a hard combination to beat.
How to get there
Fly to Larnaca- Cyprus Airways, Monarch, BA easyjet etc. There are flights available from almost all airports in the UK.
Car hire available at the airport. Taxis are available at the airport-around 10-15 Euro.

Further details indoors: SB Luxury Villa was newly built in 2007, it is located outside the traditional village of Pervolia- Larnaca.
Bedrooms: I can comfortably accommodate 7 guests (plus a cot is also available).
Bedroom 1 has a double bed, en-suite bathroom, balcony and plenty of wardrobe space. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, balcony and plenty of wardrobe space. Bedroom 3 has 3 single beds.
Bathroom/Showerooms: Main bathroom with bath/shower over, wc. En-suite to bedroom 1 with shower, wc. Downstairs shower room, wc.
Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with all the modern conveniences you require to make your stay undemanding domestically.
Lounge/ dining area: The open spacious living area provides a relaxing place to eat, watch the T.V, play a DVD or listen to your favourite music or just spend some time with your family and friends out of the sun.
Further details outdoors: Exterior garden: The pool is the largest on the complex. The garden area has two verandas, parking area and tropical plants throughout, two tables, eight chairs, four loungers and two umbrellas.
The sun shines on the pool and the garden all day enjoy!
