Originally intended to be the owners summer home, this villa can truly claim 'one of a kind' status as it has been specifically designed by it's artist / architect owner to his personal taste. The isolation of this villa allows it to enjoy complete privacy in a serene and tranquil location which would be difficult to rival. A combination of the artist's own work and memoribillia from travels all over the world results in an eclectic decor which reflects the distinctive character of both the owner and the property.
A compact kitchen is well equipped with all modern conveniences including a washing machine located on the basement level. The living area has the unusual feature of a raised ceiling with hidden lighting. The cosy working fireplace is surrounded by a combination of comfortable sofas and period furniture. Entertainment is provided by the large 52 inch television with home cinema and surround sound, DVD player, music centre and piano. A spacious double bedroom with wooden parquet flooring is located on this floor along with a separate shower room.
Stairs lead to the basement level where a games room is found complete with table tennis, selection of board games, children's toys and a keyboard. A separate shower room is also located on this level.
Two further bedrooms are located on the first floor, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom both sharing a separate shower room. A further twin bedroom and double bedroom are located on the ground floor and accessed externally from the living area. This double bedroom has a mezzanine level with a sloped ceiling, accessed by a solid wooden ladder to reach the two twin beds (suitable for children under 12 years only). This bedroom is also equipped with a television. These two bedrooms share a separate shower room.
All five bedrooms, the living area and the kitchen have air conditioning units *. Central heating throughout.

The Larnaca District
Larnaca was once the main port of Cyprus and the wealth still shows in some very beautiful and gracious buildings in the old town. Larnaca has a very interesting salt lake which in spring is pink with flamingos. Like Paphos and Limassol, Larnaca has developed into a busy resort with many hotels and apartments built on the beaches that stretch away from the town. The town is a very central spot on the island and an ideal base from which to visit Nicosia, Limassol, Protaras and Ayia Napa and even Paphos which is a two hour drive away along the excellent new motorway. Larnaca has a very traditional, palm fringed harbour promenade and a very large marina. There is a wealth of historical interest around the town including the church of St Lazarus, the Teke muslim shrine, Kiti church and the monastery of Stavrovouni.
Larnaca / Maroni area
The nearest taverna is a mere 200 metres from the villa with the larger village of Zygi famed for its excellent seafood tavernas being only a couple of minutes drive away. As a base for exploring Cyprus, Maroni is ideally positioned, being only a 20 minute drive from both Limassol and Larnaca and a 30 minute drive from the island's capital of Nicosia .

Further details outdoors: As this is an older, established property the beautifully tended and carefully cultivated grounds have had time to mature and are now bursting with vibrant colours and fragrances that bombard the senses. The large freeform swimming pool is surrounded by naturally shaded areas which provide the perfect respite from the midday summer heat. A wooden deck with seating extends partially over the swimming pool, underneath which you'll find a submerged ledge. A built in barbecue is provided allowing you to enjoy summer dining al fresco and at the edge of the villa's small private olive grove is a basketball hoop for the more energetic holidaymaker.

Changeover day is flexible. Rates include: Weekly cleaning service & Welcome Grocery Pack. Air-Conditioning is optional, payable locally at the rate of 5 Euros per unit, per day.
