The Larnaca District

Tersefanou is a quaint village resort with easy access to the main routes accross the island idealy situated to serve the Troodos Mountains, Limassol, Ayia Napa & Nicosia. The friendly villages around the area are welcoming and English is widely spoken. There are sandy or pebble beaches within a short drive and the climate is hot with fresh sea breezes most of the year with 11 months of glorious sunshine

Larnaca / Tersefanou area

For the adventurous there is plenty on offer from skiing in January in the mountains to scuba diving in the warm crystal waters around the whole Island. There is a superb Karting track floodlit at night just a 10 minute drive away, McKenzie beach is one of many blue flag beaches close at hand with warm safe waters for all the family and all sorts of water sports just the other side of the quaint harbour. All along the front are relaxing and pleasantly decorated tavernas, shops and cafes. For the culture vulture there are ancient ruins of Kition, the old capital, churches and monastries are abound and all stunningly decorated. The Troodos Mountains are a simple drive down the motorway and offer fresh mountain air, stunning views and georgous villages.

How to get there

Leaving Larnaca Airport complex you will come to a roundabout which is signposted right Larnaca and left to Mazotos, take the 1st exit to Mazotos.
Go straight over next two roundabouts towards Kiti and you will come to a set of lights at the end of the carriageway. Turn left to Kiti and you will quickly come to a T junction. Turn right to Kiti (4 km). Stay on this road through the town and over speed humps until you see a Petrolina petrol station on your left then turn immediately right to Tersefanou (also signposted Art Museum 10km).
After approx 0.6km turn right to Tersefanou & Kiti Dam and after approx 1.4km (pass a ‘50’ speed sign then pass ‘Built up Area’ sign) take a left.
Approx 100m (after 5 telegraph poles) take another left onto an unmade road and Helen of Troy Gardens is ahead on the left. Enter through the gates and no.8 is on the right seven villa’s along. (there is not a no.5!).
