The Larnaca District
Larnaca is a fcosmopolitian resort with its own marina and delightful promenade lined with Palm trees.Here you will find a large selction of Cafes, Bars and Restaurants over looking the beach area to suit everyone taste. Larnaca offers a good range of shops, and entertainment, with main route links to all parts of Cyprus where history and relaxation go hand in hand. Troodos Mountains are a breath taking day out with stunning views across Cyprus. The lace making village of Lefkara is a great traditional experience. Not forgetting the fun stuff too - Go Karting, Camel Park & Waterworld are great family fun days out .
Larnaca area
Larnaca is a town with an easy-going pace and has strong links to the past. In the heart of modern Larnaca you will find the remains of the ancient city - kingdom of Kition. The fort and the old quarters give the town its unique character. The nearby salt lake is a favourite stop over for thousands of migrating birds in winter such as flamingo's. Every summer Larnaca hosts a festival of music and performing arts. Outdoor concerts take place in the courtyard of the medieval fort. Local activities include many watersports and a great centre for Diving.
