Relax in this beautiful privately owned 1-bedroom air conditioned penthouse apartment in the very best location in Larnaca Town. Ideally placed, the apartment is situated only a 50m walk from the famous Finikoudes (palm tree) Promenade and Blue Flag Beach and Marina. Situated in a prime location in the heart of Larnaca, there is a lift to the apartment on the fourth floor and a bright sunny balcony/terrace. The apartment is tastefully furnished and fully equipped and a few minutes stroll from Larnaca's mile long promenade and palm tree lined sandy beach and the marina where you can sit back, relax with an iced coffee and watch the yachts go by. Although ideally located for shops, bars, beach and restaurants the apartment is quiet and peaceful.

The area is full of both Cypriot and international shops, restaurants, bars, tavernas, bouzoukia, and banks. Close by is the Tourist Information Office where you can take a free walking tour of Larnaca, starting at Larnaca hero General Kition's statue outside the quaint British-built Custom Warehouses. Learn about Cyprus' ancient history at the Pierides Museum, visit the ancient Church of St Lazarus, wander the Turkish quarter with its scented frangipani trees where you can buy holiday souvenirs made by local artisans, before visiting the 17th-century Knight's Templar Fort on the seafront.

Larnaca is the perfect holiday base for exploring all this stunning island has to offer. There are many traditional sights, attractions and places of interest and off the beaten track rural Cyprus offers a peaceful world of wine routes, mountains, festivals, walking and cycling. The Troodos Mountains are an hour's drive away. Nicosia, the Capital City of Cyprus, still divided since the 1974 invasion, is only a 45 kilometre drive and if you don't fancy hiring a car, public transport buses operate daily from the promenade area to Nicosia, Agia Napa, Protaras and Limassol.

We use a local car hire company called Cosmos who are very reliable, affordable and friendly and happy to give you their contact details.

The Larnaca region

Larnaca is the perfect holiday base for exploring all this stunning island has to offer. There are many traditional sights, attractions and places of interest in the Larnaca region and the Troodos Mountains are an hour's drive away.

For nature lovers on the outskirts of Larnaca Town is a Salt Lake, which provides a winter habitat for thousands of flamingos, swans and other migratory birds. A short drive from Larnaca Town is one of the oldest villages in Cyprus, Vayla and Lefkara, famous for lace making and filigree silverware.

Larnaca Town

Larnaca Town is a working town with a palm-lined seafront and bustles with cafes, tavernas, shops and bars and has flourished as a tourist resort over the past few years. The large Blue Flag beach is gently shelving and ideal for all ages. Watersports are available from the beach and there are kiosks along the beach that provide snacks and ices.

It prides itself for its contribution to the islands rich cultural heritage and in the 18th century became Cyprus' commercial centre, the place where all European Consuls established their missions. It's the third largest town in Cyprus and a great location for the keen shopper, whether looking for local handicrafts, 'designer' labels or everything in between, you will find it here!

Besides the famous Finikoudes (palm lined) beach and sea front promenande is the 200 yacht capacity Marina. In addition to the friendly community of local yacht owners it's a haunt for yachtsmen from all over the world as the harbour provides a safe wintering place.

The town attracts visitors all year round and is an ideal winter-break destination as it's climate is sunny and warm throughout the year, with cooler night temperatures between November and March.

Public transport is available to Nicosia, Agia Napa, Protaras and Limassol from Finikoudes Promenade area. Should you wish to travel further afield to the Troodos Mountains and surrounding rural mountain villages a car would be necessary which can be hired locally.

"Dirty, broken air-condition, smells from taverna downstairs, damage deposit still was non returned"

+No doubt it is one of the most silent places in the centre of Larnaca (excluding seafront stage festivals 2 days a week, construction nearby everyday).Tasteful decorated (in many little details).Have… More

We dispute all negative aspects of this review. We have never receceived any complaints about this apartment in five years and have only ever been complimented on its cleanliness. The air conditioning in the bedroom is set to fan only as the air conditioning unit in the main lounge is big enough to cool the whole apartment. We received no complaints from this customer at all during their stay and we have someone managing the apartment in the block itself so can respond to such problems immediately. The delay in deposit return was due to the fact that the Paypal details they submitted were in Russian and did not correspond to their original details they supplied so we had to seek verification from them in order to pay it to the correct account, upon verification it was paid immediately. On the many occasions we have stayed there we have NEVER noticed any smell from the taverna which is a restaurant by the way not a taverna.
