About the home

Two bedroom spacious villa with beautiful sea and mountain views. Sleeps 5, or 6 at a push. There are marble floors throughout, as well as air conditioning. This is a bright, airy property with a homely feel so that you will immediately feel welcome. There is a striking hallway and a lot of personal touches. 8x4 private infinity pool with spacious patio area. Ideal for families as there is also a pull out bed that children can make use of if necessary.

The property is set in a rural area only 200 yards from the sea and a short drive to Lapta village and local restaurants and bars. There are buses nearby to take you to various local sights.

Fully fitted wardrobes in each bedroom. George Foreman Grill, coffee maker, water cooler, beach towels, plenty of dvds and cds to play. Each room has ceiling fans. Digital Supreme Satellite television. Neighbours are very helpful and friendly.

8 x 4 infinity swimming pool, gazebo, glass table with 6 chairs, glass table/4 chairs, sofa, 2 chairs and glass table all for outside use. Shed housing 8 sunbeds small tables, lilos etc. barbecue. block paved both sides of villa, tiled spacious pool area. (pool cleaned twice per week). Off road parking. 2 balconies.

Further details

£275 per week upto £425 per week, depending on time of year and how many persons. Anything over £50 per week for electricity to be paid by customer. Rates can be negotiated for guests staying more than two weeks.
Smokers are allowed but would request they smoke outside.

The Kyrenia region

Lapta is a quiet rural area by the sea, lived in by a lot of Turkish Cypriot people who are very friendly. Ideal place for going on walks or biking. A lot of orchards in the area. Ideal position for travelling into the local village of Lapta (very old community). 20 minutes drive to the fishing harbour of Kyrenia. 20 Minutes drive to Bellapais up in the mountain (with its local village, abbey and restaurants, very picturesque). A trip to the Karpas unspoilt beaches is a must. Hilarion Castle is about 20 minutes drive. Ten minute drive is Horseshoe bay very picturesque.

The Lapta area

Horse riding and water sports are available at the Sempati Hotel, which is 7 minute walk from villa, as is Sunny Beach with its own restaurant and swimming pool. New restaurant opened 7 minutes walk from villa with night time entertainment (not too noisy). For children the water park is a five minute drive, also Sunset Bay, with water trampolines, paint balling, swimming pool, lounge bar (5 min drive). Local market is held twice a week in Lapta village (5 min drive). Driving to Kyrenia Harbour there are plenty of coves to visit all with watersport activities etc.

Larnaca Airport - Taxi to villa (taxi booked by myself or will recommend number (charge around £50.00 each way depending on number of persons in car).

Ercan Airport (via Turkey) - Taxi to villa as above, but around £20.00 each way depending on number of persons in car).

Monarch airlines are very good they fly to Larnaca, there are also plenty of airlines that fly to Larnaca.
Cyprus Turkish Airlines to Ercan - Cyprus Direct are pretty good with their prices (0870 4601234).

“A Little Bit of Heaven @ Villa Acelya!” We fell in love with Villa Acelya as soon as we walked in the front door. It is light and airy, and very well equipped. The pool is lovely and set in a private little garden. The location is very quiet and yet the neighbours are friendly and helpful. Our stay was from mid Oct to mid Jan, and we were blessed with sunny weather on the whole, but temperatures plummet as soon as the sun goes down at this time of year. I never tired of watching from the balcony as the sun rose behind the mountains each morning. From the other balcony we could watch the sun set. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area. We like walking and found lots of lovely areas to explore, either along the coast or up in the mountains. Would really recommend this holiday villa.

“Relaxing break” My wife and I spent 10 days at the villa in october, We felt at home from the start and everything we needed was provided. Ideal area for sightseing in northen cyprus and when We needed to relax just chilled out by the pool! Would recomend to anyone who wants a break in the sun! p.s The locals and ex-pat's in the area couldn't have been more welcoming.
