A short walk to wonderful beaches and 20 minute drive or bus journey into the beautiful harbour town of Kyrenia provides, restaurants, bars and boutiques and a wealth of history from what is one of the few relatively uncommercial areas let in the mediterranean.

The Kyrenia District
Unspoilt and uncommercial this gem on the North coast of Cyprus shouldn't be missed. The bustling nightlife, bars and restaurants, illuminated by the Castle of St Hilarion at night make Kyrenia the perfect place to take a stroll after dinner or to be seen having a cocktail or two.
By day locals can be seen fishing, on a Wednesday there is a local street market and harbour trips leave daily where you can go round the island or go dolphin spotting.
Lapta / Lapta Oceanside area
The heart of village of Lapta can be seen lit up in the distance half way up the mountain at night. A well known stream still runs though the village which if drunk is meant to give eternal youth.
A mile east of Lapta is Escape, a proteced sandy beach with watersports,shower, toilet and restaurant facilities as well as the historikc Folk,
The best attractions are the Bellepais Monasterie, Algadi Beach to see the green turtles, the ruins of the byzantines castle, the icon museum and of course the horseshoe harbour.
How to get there
Flights to Ercan Airport with Cyprus Turkish Airways from a variety of UK Airports. Transfer to Villa, 45 minutes by car.
Flights to Larnaca Airport with most commercial airlines including Easy Jet, Thomas Cook and BritIsh Airways. Transfer to the villa, 1hr.15minutes.
Local taxes readily available.
We can arrange transfers or car hire. Car Hire is reccommended as the vehical can be delivered to the villa or waiting for you at the airport. As in the UK they drive on the right!
