Apartment will sleep 6 persons has an open plan lounge /diner .has been newly furnished with quality furniture,entire apartment is fully tiled in marble, .a well appointed spacious kitchen with L -shaped worktop/cabinets .french windows leading to a large patio with turkish stone BBQ stunning views over the coastline and mountain range and mainland turkey. sunsets to remember. beautiful pool area with separate children's pool just 50m walk away. various walks from apartments in most directions especially along the coastline. Many fields close by growing olive and lemon trees.beaches close by are Camelot, Sun-set and Escape .very upmarket with all facilities .speed boat hire ,diving, water skiing,quad biking banana ski,swimming pools,bars restaurants etc. hire of cushions and lounges including car parking about £3 perday!! An uspoilt/quiet beach just 15mins drive is horseshoe bay complete with its own fishermans cottage that will serve up 'catch of the day'. Situated right over the ocean. come stay with us you will not be dissapointed.

This is a brand new apartment that has just been fully furnished to a very good specification. there are traventine marbe tiles throughout ,very well appointed kitchen and fully tiled bathrooms one en-suite. all rooms are fully air-conditioned if required. a very large outside patio and BBQ area which looks directly onto the kidney shaped pool.dramatic views of the Besparmark mountain range.there is also a very private patio off of the 2nd bedroom . Lovely views of the coast.,and mountainsThe seaside resort of Lapta just 1 kilometre away boast some really nice bars and restaurants ..most actually sit on the edge of the ocean itself . alternatively there are some really interesting old turkish villages just 5mins drive away ..they are Old Lapta and Alsanjak. there is a water park recently opened in lapta viliage,and there are mini waterparks available in both Riverside holiday villiage and Accapulco Beach hotel

Lapta pines apartments is known as the 'flagship' development of kyrenia. built on the 'oceanside' of lapta it is extremely spacious by comparison to some complex's, and all apts either have roof terraces or large patios all with stunning coastal and mountain range views. from here you can take a beautiful leisurely drive along the beach and end up in the fabulous 16th century harbour of kyrenia .with its low romantic lighting, antique fishing boats, and scores of international restaurants., also mosques and turkish baths are to found. also continuing on you will find BELAPAIS ABBEY, then the 'karpaz' mile after mile of unspoiled unused golden beaches,turtle hatcheries,wild donkeys,and Hares, but above all an aquamarine ocean. seek out a basic hotel, some on the beach ,[oasis], where the owner will cook for you under the stars.but it is very very basic but you can have your own karpaz alsation dog that will guard the door all night [no extra charge]

A 25% deposit must be received by the owner before a booking can be secured. balance amount must be received no later than 1 month before arrival .a £200 secruity/damage deposit must also accompany the balance ...this will be returned forthwidth [normaly within 10 days] after the cleaner/ manager report has been received. because the cost of electricity has gone through the roof in trnc [higher than uk now ] it has been regretfully necessary that we have placed a WEEKLY cap of usage of £25.00 ,[this is absobored into the rental cost] , however if the usage goes over £25.00 per week, the extra will be deducted from your secruity deposit . this occasionally has occured during july /august when holidaymakers use the air-con units low settings in the bedrooms .

Since this ad has originally been placed there has been a cable TV introduced called NileSat [500 channels] About 20 of which are english speaking. [no extra charge]
Also in the months when Air-Conditioning is likely to be used, it has become necessary [mainly due to electricity prices going through the roof ],to introduce a maximum cap on use .This is £25.00 PER WEEK...[ which will be absorbed by the owner ]. anything over that amount must be paid by the renters.
there is absolutely no smoking allowed in the apartment.[however smoking on the outside patios is fine]

The Kyrenia region


Very unspoiled area, with dramatic views both from the mountains and towards the mountains.For 10months of the year it is pretty much rain free. .Some superb coastal drives and you will never be far from a friendly bar or restaurant.if you should take the rmountain ridge drive you will find Hilarian castle with breathtaking views i believe it dates back to the 12th century!! The actual harbour of kyenia with its fortress dates back to the 14th century.Its very unique, unspoilet,a myriad of international restaurants,mosques,turkish baths cobbled streets,they say the jewel of the med.[or the meds best kept secret ?] Some splendid locals haunts can be found where amazing deals can be experienced like 'Cenap' in old Alsanjack village ,24 courses for £10 !!...fantastic local wines in supermarkets for £3.00 local brandy 75cl £2.80.!! At the moment turkish cyprus also called trnc. is without doubt the meditteraneans best kept secret ...its free from the euro ..what more does one need ?
The Lapta / Lapta Oceanside area
Just 20mins drive away from kyrenia 14th century harbour is Lapta oceanside,it is actually a tourist destination, it boasts several 5 star hotels, several casinos..all with restaurants,bars, and typical turkish folk nights.[a really good deal at about £15 per person including drinks!!]
Myself i favour several little oceans edge cafe's one being cafe sara..honest to goodness home made pizza including the base...and a fabulous new hotel restaurant called haci ali ...wow! you should see the pool right over the ocean and this year a jetty out to the sea with bar should be complete.Choose to swim in either. Also a pretty good italian just opened up called 'veni vici'close by. Come back sit around the pool and watch the sunset !!!!!! A popular sunset watching spot is silver rocks [formerly shirley valentines] also has a lovely pool on th edge of the sea Next day go into Old Lapta village and get a really good hair cut and shave for £5.00 [men only ] !!....... .Dont laugh but you really should try a Real Turkish Kebab there ..the lamb is superb..! and i dont even normally like kebabs,,.two mini water parks have recently opened are 'lapethos' in lapta villiage ,only 6/7 ,mins drive.[from your apartment].. the other is in the acapulco hotel which is situated close to a beach with aquasporting hire available...[jet skis etc] happy days eh ??

There are 3 ways of getting to northern cyprus.
1. fly directly into ercan [pronouced erchan] via Stantead airport. Choose either Pegasus airlines or Cyprus/Turkish airlines [kthy]or turkish.airlines ,a cab to lapta will be £25-£30. this can be aranged for you .
2. fly into Larnaca in the south with BA ,cyprus airlines or olympic or check all tour operaters[about 8] for varying prices eg . monarch,, , thomsons, thomas cooke,1stchoice easyjet and many others. a cab to ferry you across the greek/tukish border will charge about £40-£50 . great fun! we can arrange.....pick and car hire .
3. for the slightly more adventurous , get an easy jet flight into istanbul[about £65.00] and maybe stay a couple of nights in taxsim?[istanbul] A daily connection from the same airport[sabana gochen] , with pegasus airline .will fly you directly into Ercan. About $35,!! well worth the extra time spent. And not much more money to try this method.

My partner and I brought my granddaughter and my godson with us on this trip and I did wonder whether there would be enough going on to keep them occupied, it was a needless worry as they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They were able to go off on their own to explore as the beach was only a stones throw away and the apartment was conveniently situated for us as well, as the local restaurants and shops were within walking distance. We hired a car for a few days to go further afield but in the main we took the local dolmus ( minibus) into Kyrenia as it was so cheap. If we chose to stay on site then we had the use of the huge swimming pool, which was floodlit at night, virtually on our doorstep and could relax in the attractive gardens. It was also nice to be able to cook a meal on the barbecue and eat outside. The views of the mountains from the apartment are amazing and it became my morning ritual to sit outside on the balcony with a cup of coffee and admire them.The apartment itself was extremely clean and very comfortably furnished, everything you could possibly need was supplied including satellite television. In fact, the whole site was very well maintained. I was also very impressed with the total cost our stay there, as having checked pricing I found Mr Lovell's the most competitive compared to other apartments in the area. I would most definitely stay there again in the future! Arrived in Cyprus for the first time...apartment everthing as described clean, well maintained and very well equipped, added bonus of a private walled garden with bbq and sun loungers etc.Very conveniently situated, walking distance to the beach and served by an excellent bus service into kyrenia and surrounding areas. Large and very well maintained pool, together with both stunning mountain and sea views. Best of both worlds here...very peaceful if thats what you require..but nightlife only a short distance away. Stayed here for 3 weeks in August. Complex was lovely, accmodation was very basic and dirty. Poor service form owner and management company from start to finish. Avoid at all costs, look elsewhere for other people who rent their properties out in the complex, to avoid being ripped off. Response: im suprised and shocked of the review from this guest. and would invite anyone to contact me to get the other side of the story ,after her substantialy chisling me down on my rental rate,knowing i was already the cheapest in the complex ,she still chose to sneak a 3rd adult in for, im told 10 days !!,, she allowed her children to track sand into all rooms and left approx 6 bin bags full of rubbish out on the patio for the cats to have fun with.my manager was furious. she screamed blue murder when she had to pay a whopping £8.00 for an extra tanker of water as the supply from the city resevoir could not keep up with their ''water use abuse''something which is frowned upon on the island, my manager found an air-con unit still running in a bedroom set at 16degrees! several hours after they had moved out ..needless to say the next bill was the highest electric bill i have ever had. i urge any owner DO NOT RENT TO THIS PERSON call me for details .like the saying goes you can never please all of the people all of the time.. |

When we arrived at Larnaca it was late and dark. We prebooked a hire a car through Arizona rent a car, they organised a driver to pick us up and drop us back to the airport at a small cost of £45 each way. (we have used them before). Our driver was waiting for us at the arrivals with our name on a board. He put our stuff in the car, then we set off to North Cyrus to find A1 Lapta Pines. The driver took us through the boarder with no hassel. Once through the border he took us to a super market that was open late so we can get a few supplies. He then stopped and bought us some drinks at his expense. He knew where Lapta was but he didn't know Lapta Pines, but that didn't matter because James the owner gave me the exact details we needed to find it with great ease. When we arrived everything was as promised. A great clean and well equiped apartment. We have only 2 negatives about the apartment and that is 1. The beds are not as soft and comfy as ours at home in the UK, but we did get some good needed sleep after our fun filled days. 2. There were some ants that attacked some of our food that we had left out overnight, so, you must always keep your food wraped or in the fridge. The apartment is in a fantastic location, there are lots of fine places to eat and drink. A hire car is a must to enable you to travel and see the wonderful sights North Cyprus has to offer. The pool at the apartment is great and well looked after, we used it every morning and evening before we went out. The air-con was a god send. We had a fantastic time in Cyprus at a pleasant stay in Lapta Pines with no problems. We will definately stay here again when we return to Cyprus next year. Ther is so much to see in Cyprus, if you use this apartment as a base you will have no regrets. Steve and Tammy
