About the home

Lannion has a wonderful medieval town centre sloping down to the river. This is the start of the famous Cote de Granit Rose and beaches run along the coast for many miles. One of the best is Beg Leguer which is a short drive from the property. The property itself is a traditional stone cottage with modern interior, in an original farm setting, yet close to the beach.

Entrance into open plan living area with comfortable seating, TV, and dining furniture. Kitchen corner with hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher. Utility room with washing machine. Double (5') bedroom with doors to garden. Bathroom with bath and shower over, hand basin and WC.
Stairs from lounge to double bedroom (can be two singles), double bedroom with ensuite WC and hand basin.
Garden with outdoor furniture and BBQ

The Brittany / Cotes-D'Armor region

Lannion is a delightful old town with a lovley old quarter with half timbered buildings. The beach is long and sandy, and the coast has one of the best footpaths.
The Pink Granite coast has the most wonderful natural sculptures dotted along the coast. The coastline is deeply indented with lots of beaches. From Lannion to Trebeurden to Perros Guirrec is only a short drive but there is enough to keep you interested for days.
Perros Guirec is a sophisticated town with an excellent shopping centre, dropping down to the port area with the inevitable collection of bars and restaurants, plus splendid beaches.
A great holiday location.

The Lannion area

An elephant, a bell, even Napoleon's tricorn hat, these are just some of the fantastic shapes that you can make out in the rocks along this coast. The Pink Granite Coast starts at Perros-Guirec and ends at Trebeurden. The valley of the Traouiero is a magical world of huge granite blocks, which are balanced precariously on each other. On a 3 hour walk, which begins at the tide-mill of Ploumanac'h - Tregastel, you will find some expiations of the geological origin of the valley and will begin to understand how the micro climate here has produced some very special plants.
