The Brittany region
What a truly fantastic coastline. The Pink Granite coast has the most wonderful natural sculptures dotted along the coast. The coastline is deeply indented with lots of beaches. From Trebeurden to Perros Guirrec is only a short drive but there is enough to keep you interested for days.
Perros Guirec is a sophisticated town with an excellent shopping centre, dropping down to the port area with the inevitable collection of bars and restaurants, plus splendid beaches.
Trebeurden is a resort of several areas, the port, the shops and the beaches . Local shops, bars and restaurants only a short walk (500m).
This is another beautiful resort, but it is not all you can see on the Granite Rose Coast. At low tide you can walk to the Ile Milliau which has almost 50 acres of moorland, rocks, cliffs, ancient megaliths and fine sand. Further out to sea is Molene a rock topped by a large sand dune, which can be visited by boat.
