This beautifully furnished house will sleep 12 adults plus two children in comfort in 6 double bedrooms each with its own bathroom/shower room. Gray Manes has large entertaining and dining areas equipped with everything you need for a truely memorable stay. The heart of the house is the fabulous 27ft sitting room, blending rich leather with mellow oak. The large stone inglenook fireplace and double patio doors make this room a place to celebrate whatever the season.

The Leisure Barn houses your exclusive heated swimming pool, with changing facilities and a large games room with table football, air hockey, american pool table and the all important TV ready for games consoles etc.

Further details outdoors:
Gray manes sits in its own grounds of nearly two acres. A patio runs the length of the house catching the sun nearly all day, it is a lovely place to sit and relax. In the summer months it is just great for al fresco eating, looking out over the grounds to distant views, there is a large gas BBQ and all the garden furniture you need. There is a further patio by the pool room with sun loungers. A secure and fenced childrens play area houses a trampoline, climbing frame with swings and slide. During the summer months we supply outdoor games such as croquet, and boules.

The West Country / Somerset region

Somerset is ideally located for short breaks and longer holidays with modern links to London and the South East as well as Birmingham and the Midlands. The county offers stunning countryside from the rugged landscape of Exmoor to the rolling hills of the Quantocks and the Blackdown Hills to the flat landscape of the Somerset Levels and Moors. From stunning architecture of Bath and Wells to the shopping heaven of Clarks Village from historic Glastonbury to the fabulous wildlife, Somerset has something for everyone.

The Langport / Low Ham area

Gray Manes is beautifully located on the edge of the Somerset Levels and Moors in the tranquil and peaceful hamlet of Low Ham, accessed by quiet country lanes and surrounded by stunning countryside. There are lovely walks and cycle routes near Low Ham from the gentle amble to the more challenging routes - Detailed maps are provided. Low Ham lies 16 miles east of Taunton. We are well placed to visit some well-known attractions including Glastonbury, Wookey Hole, Fleet Air Arm Museum, Hayes Motor Museum, Clarks Village at Street with great bargains to be had and the cathedral town of Wells.

Just two miles away is the historic town of Langport on the banks of the River Parrett, it claims to be the smallest town in England. Langport offers fishing (day tickets can be bought from the news agents) and canoeing, and there is a visitor centre where it is possible to hire bicycles to ride the cycle way along the river. Langport has a good selection of restaurants, pubs and shops (including a supermarket)

Somerton is under 4 miles away and is said to have given its name to the county of Somerset. Somerton has many wonderful churches, historic buildings and plenty of restaurants, cafés, tearooms and public houses.
