Lovely Cottage and warm welcome from Garry and Jackie. Girls loved the pool, hard to get them out of it. Gorgeous setting very relaxing, views to lake from bedroom window beautiful. Nice trips to Vannes and local lake is really good. Merlin restaurant at Lake made a lovely lunch. Thank you for a great time Robbi, Susan, Elisabeth and Erin 23rd – 31st May 2008
Well we’ve been very lucky with the weather – sunshine all week and as warm as 28c on one day! We too enjoyed the wonderful views and our trips to Chez Chris (La Florentine Pizzeria) for a great lunch and fantastic pizza. Pout du Scorff Zoo was great, especially the Sea Lions and Parrot shows. L’Amore Plage and Kerhouc were lovely beaches – but watch for Jellyfish! We finished the week with a fantastic 4 seater motor boat around Lac de Guerledan from Caroul – chilly but great fun. The wine, cheese, cakes and bread bought locally were excellent. Thank you for looking after us Taria, Gerard, Jude and Carrie 6th – 13th June 2008
Weather fantastic hear almost all of our stay. We all had a great holiday hear, Gite great and location perfect. Hope to come back soon. Kind Regards Colin, Amanda & Jamie 11th – 25th July
We have had a wonderful holiday, we couldn’t fault the cottage or the location – perfect! Garry and Jackie were on hand to help us make the most of our holiday, this was greatly appreciated. Spent a very pleasant day at Vannes, we browsed around the shops and enjoyed a relaxed lunch – beautiful medieval buildings and a lovely atmosphere. We went to Lake Guerledan where we hired a motor boat for an hour and also spent a pleasant day at Pont Scorff Zoo. We ate at La Florentine Pizzeria in the village, very warm welcome and reasonable prices. Our son did a spot of fishing and caught two fish, he couldn’t go wrong really and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. All in all, a very memorable holiday in this tranquil and idyllic setting, we’ll be back! Sam & Anna / Steve, Rachel, Sam & Hannah 25 July 2008
Had a great time, in spite of ‘changeable’ weather. Accommodation great, lovely bedroom; enjoyed reading looking out over the lake. Thanks to Garry for the lend of fishing gear, the girls really enjoyed it – and they caught some fish! (They were that big…photos to go onto the web site) Managed to have a couple of BBQ’s. Neighbours were great fun all the kids got on really well. A few late nights with one or two glasses of vino went down a treat, especially when Garry and Jackie joined us. Thanks for being great hosts. Garren, Phil, Georgina and Lucy 1st – 8th August 2008
A relaxing 2 weeks even if the weather wasn’t brilliant. The kids loved the pool & Garry and Jackie are excellent hosts. Just one word of warning – there is a delinquent crow that is likely to wake you up about 7am either knocking on the window of the cottage or your car!! Sara Jane, Michael, Edward & Francesca July 2008 We’ve had a wonderful week. Perfect hosts, perfect setting – plenty to do locally, not too far to the coast and all it offers. Bike ride well worth it – Jackie even provided the map. New experiences for some – fishing on the lake! Geese like being fed – need to be able to run faster than them! Beautiful pool, refreshing after the bike ride. Jackie and Garry look after you really well. Many thanks. Phil, Vanessa, Jenni, Viki & Ste 23rd August 2008
Very good hosts, cottage lovely. Weather so-so but still had a great time. Tony, Denise, Lyndsay & Mark 31st May – 7th June 2008 Jackie & Garry are wonderful hosts, can’t do enough for you. We wish them all the very best with their venture & have no doubt it will all work out fine. Weather hitty-missy but still enjoyed every day. Josselin is beautiful & Pontivy with its old & new sectors & its restaurants “Le Marstray” worth a visit the food is excellent. The Buvette on the lake is not to be missed – the women thought he was like “Sasha Distel”. Feeding the swans, geese & ducks is a full time job. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Terry & Rosemary Gallagher Dave & Emily Phillips 7th – 21st June 2008
Jackie and Garry friendly & welcoming. Cottage nice and spacious. The kids loved the pool, blokes loved the boules (champs ‘n’ experts now). Lots of great places to visit, Carnac beach is super & also Larmor plage. Auray is well worth the drive (even the kids enjoyed strolling around). All in all a lovely holiday, would love to come back. Ta Muchly! Dave & Jeannette Wildgoose and kids Nigel & Karon Duffeld and kids 2nd – 16th Aug 2008
