Markwell farm is a 400 acre mixed farm less than 2 miles from A38 at Landrake. The Holiday cottages are in a quiet location with stunning views of open countryside and the River Tiddy.

The Granary is one of a block of 4 cottages in an 18th century converted barn. This 2 bedroom cottage has a double and a twin bedroom. The entrance is into a large living room with well equipped kitchen. The French doors lead onto a balcony. A door from here leads through to a large twin bedroom. On the other side of the living room are the double bedroom and shower / wc room.

This cottage is all on one level.

Parking is by the door along with a gravelled area with seating.

A washing machine for use by guests is located in an outbuilding near the cottages.

The Granary is all on one level, suitable for those with restricted mobility.

From the entrance you walk into a large living area with dining table & chairs, comfy sofa and a well equipped kitchen. This room has a balcony which overlooks the gardens and farmland. To one side of this room is the double bedroom and shower room, the other side is the large twin bedroom.

A deposit of £100 is required at booking with the balance due a month before the holiday.

We do not accept pets in this cottage.

The West Country region

Cornwall is known for its warm climate and sandy beaches. It is a perfect place to come and unwind. As well as its glorious beaches and rugged moors there are also places to visit which include the Eden Project, Bodmin & Wenford steam railway, National trust properties of Lanhydrock ,Cothele and Anthony House (Alice in Wonderland filmed here).

Landrake

Saltash is a flourishing modern town with historic roots stretching back to the 12th century. Situated on the west bank of the beautiful river Tamar, Saltash acts as a gateway between Cornwall and Devon, whether travelling by road, rail or river. As well as the attractive setting, Saltash can also boast a wide range of excellent facilities, along with beautiful river-side walks and leisure amenities.

Landrake is about 3 miles from Saltash. There is a small shop /PO, church.Landrake Church is dedicated to St Michael. It stands on a hill and the tower is 100 ft high. Parts of the building are Norman but the majority is of the 15th century.
