Markwell Farm is a 400 acre mixed farm less than 2 miles from A38 at Landrake. The Holiday cottages are in a quiet location with stunning views of open countryside, the River Tiddy and the St Germans viaduct, offering a peaceful retreat in which to relax and unwind.
The Stable is one of four cottages in a converted 18th century barn.
Upstairs the bedroom has a stylish four poster bed with the shower room & wc next to the bedroom. Downstairs is a living area with table & chairs, comfy sofa and well equipped kitchen with full size electric cooker, fridge/freezer & microwave. Colour TV with dvd player. Outside is a lawned garden with table and chairs for al fresco breakfast or for that glass of wine at the end of the day.
Wifi available at no extra cost.
Washing machine for guest use in a nearby building.
We can accept small babies (under 12 months) in this cottage ( a cot may be available by prior arrangement) but not older children due to the steep stairs.

There is outdoor seating and parking by the cottage. Visitors are welcome to explore the farm and meet the animals which include cattle, sheep, ponies and the usual collection of cats, dogs, ducks and chickens. Eggs for sale subject to availability.
All our cottage are NO SMOKING.
Heating is included from Nov - April. Available at other times at £20 per week.
Washing machine available for guests use in a building near the cottages.
The West Country region
Cornwall is known for its warm climate and sandy beaches. It is a perfect place to come and unwind. As well as its glorious beaches and rugged moors there are also places to visit which include the Eden Project, Bodmin & Wenford steam railway, National trust properties of Lanhydrock ,Cothele and Anthony House (Alice in Wonderland filmed here).
Saltash is a flourishing modern town with historic roots stretching back to the 12th century. Situated on the west bank of the beautiful river Tamar, Saltash acts as a gateway between Cornwall and Devon, whether travelling by road, rail or river. As well as the attractive setting, Saltash can also boast a wide range of excellent facilities, along with beautiful river-side walks and leisure amenities.
Landrake is about 3 miles from Saltash. There is a small shop /PO, church.Landrake Church is dedicated to St Michael. It stands on a hill and the tower is 100 ft high. Parts of the building are Norman but the majority is of the 15th century.
