This beautiful mill is situated near the village of Lamporecchio, surrounded by olive-groves in a peaceful, secluded valley. The ancient stone structure has recently been restored to its original beauty through careful renovation work. The interior is perfectly furnished and offers excellent facilities. The house has been divided into three separate units in order to offer a high level of privacy whilst allowing guests to eat together in one of the ground floor apartments with a 10 seat dining table and suitable kitchen, or using the spacious living room on the first floor. Apartment 1 is accessed directly from the courtyard. A second entrance, also in the courtyard, leads to apartments 2 and 3.

The village of Lamporecchio (3 Km) has a variety of different stores. Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci is just 5 Km away. The house where Leonardo was born and the museum that has been dedicated to this important figure are well worth visiting. Florence and Lucca are less than an hour away by car (respectively 50 and 45 Km). The beautiful beaches of the Tuscan coastline are also within easy reach.

When the apartments are booked individually, the swimming pool is shared.

The caretaker, who looks after the outdoor areas and swimming pool, has access to the property and occasionally uses a small house located beyond the car park, around 300 meters from the main house.

The Tuscany region

History, culture, natural beauty, crystal waters, dazzling beaches...and food to die for. Italy really does have it all. From Venice's architectural jewels in the north to Puglia's sun soaked olive growths in the south, there's something for everyone in this country of infinite variety.

Whether you choose to spend your time exploring the Adriatic Coast, with its white sands and dramatic promontories, or the gentle rolling hills of Umbria, where almost every view is reminiscent of a Renaissance painting, your time in Italy will be time well spent.

And let's not forget the Italian Lakes, whose serene and ageless splendour has beguiled visitors for centuries. As has the island charm and Sicily and Sardinia, two very different yet equally enchanting holiday destinations. Last, but by no means least, is there any other city on the planet that can match Rome for its combination of ancient history and cosmopolitan style?

Prepare to relax in the most enchanting surrounds you have ever seen...

The Italian countryside is the place to enjoy an authentic experience, to appreciate the real old traditional flavours, or just to watch life go slowly and peacefully by. The Tuscan hills, historical villages, cellars where you can taste some of the regions greatest wines. The world famous towns of Florence and Siena, as well as many other beautiful, well loved Tuscan towns like Pisa, Volterra and Montelpulciano all within a short drive.

The Chianti countryside, where you will find many of Tuscany's most charming locations, such as San Gimignano, has been a popular destination for international travellers for many years and we are delighted to welcome them all to our portfolio.
