Nestled in a quiet location against a woodland setting at the foot of the Cambrian mountains, Llety'r Wennol has a small private south facing terraced garden with patio overlooking the lovely Teifi Valley. The stunning Cardigan Bay coastline is within easy reach whilst Lampeter being 6 miles away offers two supermarkets, shops and places to eat.

The barn is ideal for varied interests – from relaxing in the barn/garden to exploring the beautiful coastline of Cardigan Bay. The area is good for days on the beach, walking, fishing, cycling, golfing. wildlife enthusiasts and numerous historic sites, mines and railways.

Carefully designed for all seasons. the barn comes fully equipped with the added comfort of underfloor central heating and a large wood burner. It has a spacious open plan design for easy living and comprises the following:

Entrance hall with access off to utility room: housing washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Off the utility room is the shower room, with wash basin and WC and shaver point.

Through the entrance hall you pass into the open plan area offering a fully fitted and equipped kitchen with electric cooker, slow cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave, also a small hi-fi system.

The breakfast/dining area, comprising table and chairs leads you up two shallow steps into the lounge with ample comfortable seating, wood burner Digital TV, DVD player and Wi Fi access to the internet.

Bedroom 1 has a king-sized bed with double wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables.

Bedroom 2 has twin beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table.

Bathroom with wash basin, WC, bath and hand shower and shaver point.

Outside we provide table and chairs, loungers and BBQ

One well behaved pet is welcome at a small additional charge – please bring pets bed/bedding. For your pets convenience we have a 3 acre field at the bottom of our drive, which can be used virtually all year with the exception of July - August/September as the grass is too long.

We provide all central heating and electricity, bed linen, duvets, towels, bath & shower mats, tea towels and kitchen hand towels, 1 basket of logs, welcome pack. (Cot, high chair and child's table chair – please request).

During the high season (July – August) we keep our bookings from Saturday to Saturday, however we can offer short breaks and different start days other times of the year.

Access: from the B4343 Llety'r Wennol is reached by an approximately 200m gently sloping, slightly uneven driveway. Driving past the owner's house and garden some 20m you reach a shingle parking a turning area in front of the barn. A graduated step leads to a level paved area to the front door. The barn is built on a slightly sloping site and has a stepped walk-way around the side leading to the patio and terraced garden at the rear. Hand rails surround the edge of the patio leading down two steps to a small lawned area.

Inside: the ground floor is open plan with access to the lounge by two broad and shallow wooden steps.

CAT -Centre for Alternative Techology

Devils Bridge - three bridges, one built on top of the other

Red Kite Feeding Centre at Rhayader - this is a wonderful experience

Aberystwyth - enjoy the shops, a walk on the prom, experience the vernicular railway or travel on the narrow gauge railway to Devils Bridge.

Go back in time to the Red Kite Museum in Tregaron with its original school room from the beginning of the 20th Century.

Stunning Cardigan Bay with its beautiful beaches - visit Mwnt - great for families and is a 'Blue Flag' beach, Newquay - have a boat trip, see the Dolphins leap - visit picturesque Llangrannog with its lovely coastal walk. Mooch around the fishing town of Abaereon or have at trip to Cardigan Island.

Historic places - Museums & Castles such as Pentre Ifan burial chamber, Cilgerran Castle, Carreg Cennen Castle, Castell Henlys (Stone age village), The National Botanic Gardens, The Tudor Merchants house in Tenby or the historical City of St Davids with its fascinating Cathedral: Dolaucothi Gold Mine or National Wool Museum.

Guided Walks in the Cambrian Mountains - start off from Tregaron with experienced guides and see the incredible views across this lovely area of Wales. Take a picnic in the Mountains - visit Llyn Brianne or the beautiful Elan Valley.

Bring your bicycles and burn of your energy by going places where other vehicles can not reach!

Wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy Tregaron Bog - Take your binoculars to see birds, water creatures and insects or visit Ynyslas Nature Reserve with its fabulous expanse of white sand - if the tide is exceptionally low, you may be lucky enough to see the ancient tree forest - land which was swallowed by the sea eons ago.

West Wales is naturally beautiful and unspoilt with the Cambrian Mountains rising towards the east and the beaches beckoning to the west. The main industry is farming and agriculture hence the beauty of the landscape and many individuals have been inspired to create a wealth unusual and interesting crafts - some being sold locally. There is plenty to do in the area whether it be rain or shine for all the family.
