About the home

This luxury villa is located 5 mins drive south of Lamai, it is secured and very private within a walled boundary, on a private develepment of 4 individual villas.

Fully furnished in a modern style, with large living/dining area and fully equipped kitchen. Split-level design with the lower level comprising of bedroom en suite, with an attached entertainment area suitable for children.

The upper level has three bedrooms and a large open space living, dining and kitchen area with computer area providing free wireless internet.

The master bedroom has en-suite bathroom, shower and toilet, whilst the other bedrooms have en-suite showers, wc & wash basin.

The open plan interior opens out through french doors to the pool side and sun bathing area. There is also a seating area and spa in the pool. There is a double carport keeping the vehicle secure behind a private gate.

Living room includes 2 two-seater sofas and 1 three-seater sofa,coffee table, 47 inch LCD flatscreen TV, DVD player, dining area, teak table that seats 8 people. To rear of the wall that houses the LCD is an office area with a desk and wifi connection.

Lower floor includes a small gym, laundry room, TV seating area with 42 inch flat screen LCD, this area is open plan looking out to small garden area with fish pond. Bedroom 4 with en suite is located on this floor.

All 4 bedrooms are air-conditioned

Outside area includes 8m x 5m swimming pool with add on Jacuzzi area, surrounded by decking area which includes 3 sunbeds, terrazzo table with 5 chairs, slightly raised from the swimming pool is the car parking area, the lower floor outside area has a fish pond, terrazzo table chairs and barbecue.

The Koh Samui region

Koh Samui is the largest of the Siam gulf islands and resides on an archipelago of 80 smaller islands of which very few (6) are inhabited. With its beautiful coconut trees and hills covered with lush vegetation and the white chalky mountains it offers a wonder of natural beauty to explore and enjoy. It enjoys a tropical climate with its main season running from Dec to April. You will find the standard of living very attractive and there are many shops offering summer clothing and accessories.

The Lamai area

Lamai is a small beach side tourist town 10 mins drive from the Villa. There are many shops lining the streets offering locally made souvenirs and clothes. When the sun goes down the streets come alive with lights and music from the night market and variety of bars while the restaurants serve excellent Thai and western dishes in the town and on the beach.

Thai boxing is also popular and Lamai has its own professional and amateur boxing ring.

There is also the Namsuang Waterfalls, Crocodile farm and Elephant trekking which can be found a short distance away plus many temples and a snake farm.

The Aquarium ,Tiger Zoo and Butterfly Garden is within 5mins drive of the villa

Royal Samui Golf & Country Club. 18 hole course under construction but first 9 holes now open on mountain overlooking Lamai, 15 minutes from the villa.


Santiburi Samui Country Club is an 18 hole golf course about 30 mins drive from the villa, it is Koh Samui’s first golf course and provides both challenge and charm with a lush tropical setting. The 18-hole championship golf. It is located on a hillside of northern coast of Koh Samui, amidst old coconut gardens. The golf course has a commanding scenic panoramic view of Maenam Beach and the nearby island of Koh Phangan. Golfers are able to enjoy these magnificent views of the ocean and beaches from almost all holes. Waterfalls and creeks run through the land adding lush, natural beauty with the hills providing a picturesque backdrop. Each of the 18 holes at Santiburi Samui Country Club has its own unique character and challenges. From steep uphill and downhill slopes to winding fairways that are cut into the forest and meander around cliffs and streams, Santiburi Samui Country Club is one of the most unique Thailand golf courses.

A car is recommended, although small motorcycle can be rented cheaply, daily or weekly. We can arrange for a reputable car hire for you. Airport is 30 mins drive. Ferry port is 20 min drive. Perfect... Perfect...Perfect
Having the freedom of a villa was the best decision ever. Palm View Villa exceded our expectations. It really was a dream villa in a dream destination. The villa itself has everything you would need and it is a great size with a fab pool. Just two steps from our bedroom and you are in the pool. The villa and pool are cleaned every t hreedays too and you get fresh linen. We recommend this very highly... superb value for money. Great location but it is very useful having a vehicle to get to Tescos and the markets to stock up. But in the evening just get a Two Bench to Lamai. Remember to set the price before you get on. We are saving already to go back and all our friends that saw the villa (we were in Samui for a wedding) thought it was incredible.

Wonderful holiday and fantastic house!
The house was lovely - as good s it looks in the photos! We had a great time - both exploring the island and 'just hanging' out a the house. David and his team are wonderful hosts - helped arrange airport pickups and drop offs, direction to the house, reccommended resturants, beaches and boat excursions and were just a phone call away even the slightest problem - which was solved extremely quickly! The house and service made for a lovely relaxing family holiday and I would definately reccomend and use again! Thank you David!

Excellent, will be returning!
My husband and two children travelled to Koh Samui for the first time with 4 other family members. We were collected from the airport and transfered to the villa where we met the owner, who made us feel very welcome. The villa was fantastic, excellent sized pool, rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen and whole villa was well equiped and even though we were not in the centre of Lamai we were only a short baht bus away! Neither of the party wanted to go home after our two weeks and we will be returning and using peaceful villas again.

Wonderful
Excellent home at the villa, David made us tour and explanation of hi-fi equipment, tv and kitchen. The villa is beautiful + comfortable and is only 10 minutes from Lamai. David was very available during all the stay. During our stay, there were significant problems of water supply and several hotels (even 5 stars) had the penalty to provide this service...David (gâce to contacts on the island) has managed to provide regularly without having to acclimatised to this... David knows to be discreet and available at the same time! No bad surprises possible with this kind of person. We will return to Koh Samui and we would rent a villa through David Smart...
