Welcome to the beautiful island of Koh Samui. Here at Connie’s Villas, we aim to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing. We have on offer the finest Thai and Western bar food cooked by our in-house chef along with a range of European, Thai and oriental drinks. Our Thai bar staff are friendly and can offer local knowledge of the island should you require information from the Thai people themselves. Lamai is a ten-minute drive, where you can enjoy good food and relaxing on the beach.

The Koh Samui region

Koh Samui is one of Thailand's most popular tourist destinations, known for it's fabulous beaches and beautiful scenery. The mountains inland are shrouded in lush tropical rainforest where tourists can take an elephant trek to the edge of a waterfall or a tree-top ride through the canopy. The warm, crystal clear waters and magnificent coral reefs are a snorkellers and divers paradise, while closer to shore tourists can take part in many watersports.

The towns are filled with lively bars and restaurants serving delicious food and drinks. Those who enjoy the local food, can take a course in Thai cooking or the energetic can learn Thai-boxing. There are many temples offering an insight into the local culture and history. Big Buddha is the largest and most impressive.

Lamai / Namuang area

Lamai is a bustling tourist town next to a long white sandy beach. Many shops line the streets selling locally made clothes and souvenirs. After dark, the streets are alive with music and lights from the night market and many bars. Restaurants serve excellent Thai and Western food in town and on the beach. Thai boxing is a popular event with tourists and locals alike and Lamai has a professional and amateur boxing ring.

The Namuang Waterfalls, crocodile farm and elephant trekking are within walking distance from Connie's Villas and other tourist attractions such as the temples, snake farm, aquarium, butterfly garden and fishing are a short drive away.

How to get there

Koh Samui is situated in the Gulf of Thailand. A two hour boat trip from the mainland docks in Nathon, the capital of Samui or Ra Jah Ferry terminal. Flights run frequently from Bangkok and Phuket and take approximately one hour. Koh Samui Airport is a 45 minute drive to Connie’s Villas and the route takes you through two of the islands main towns Chaweng and Lamai to give you a glimpse of what you can expect from your time here.

When booking, please indicate if you would like to be met at either the airport or the docks to be transferred to Connie’s Villas. This will be an additional charge (on arrival), but we have our own taxi service to keep costs minimal. We will require your flight number before you arrive in Koh Samui so we can meet you.

The room comes fully equipped with modern fixtures and fittings, air-con, tea and coffee making facilities, TV and DVD player. Outside is a private terrace with table and chairs overlooking the pool. We also have wheelchair access and offer babysitting service

For quiet relaxing days in the sun, look no further than our deep pool and Jacuzzi. Sun loungers are provided for our guests and clean pool towels can be found next to the outside shower. Our bar staff will be happy to serve you food and drinks at the pool side.

Morgan's Bar is open every day where every one is welcome to come in for food and drink. We stock local and imported beers, wines and spirits and the bar staff have a wide repertoire of refreshing cocktails. Food is served all day and our in-house chef uses the freshest ingredients to bring you delicious authentic Thai and Western dishes.

A variety of different events are hosted in the bar, such as local bands, dancers, live sport and quiz nights.

Once you have confirmed a booking with Connie’s Villas, we can arrange airport pick up for when you land in Koh Samui. We can offer a taxi service and good rates for car and scooter hire. Once you have settled in to your new home for your duration of you stay. We have a network of businesses / friends who are more than willing to help you enjoy your time in Koh Samui.
