The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region
Couze Saint Front is very centreal for visiting the bastid towns and is an excellent touring base, beeing in the centre of famous vineyards to the west and equally famous beauty spots to the East.
To the West : some twelve miles away Bergerac stands proudly on the bank of the Dordogne. A beautiful town made prosperous by the wine and tobacco trade. The town has streets full of history, with nice shops and restaurants. Onwars towards Bordeaux you pass through countles vineyards with famous chateaux names and degustation, where you can stop and taste. The village of Saint Emilion is particularly worth a visit, this beeing approximately an hour and a half away by car.
To the East : there are many famous beauty spots all within easy reach in the car, the road following the river for much of the way. These include Beynac and Domme and many more fortified towns perched high up in the rocky cliffs. The famous Caves at Les Eyzies and Lascaux and the historical town of Sarlat is within an hours drive of Couze.
Lalinde area
The bastide town of Lalinde is approximately 2 miles away from Couze and is bordered on one side by the Dordogne and on the other by a beautiful canal, which was built 150 years ago, so that the wine barges could bypass the shallower parts of the river. Lalinde is a small bustling town, which has a busy market every thursday moring. There are also plenty of shops, banks, garages, supermaket etc..During summer there are many historical attractions, medieval feasts, musical concerts.

Open plan living room with fully fitted kitchen with full size oven, electric kettle, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, electric coffee machine. TV with DVD players, tuner with home cinema system. Parents room with double bed and shower corner with basin. Twin room with basin. Double room. Laundry with washing machine and freezer. Private terrace with barbecue.
Further details outdoors: Each cottage has its own private terrace with barbecue and garden furniture. Each cottage is totally self contained and has its own washing machine, no shared laundry. The 14x6 m swimming pool is secured with approved alarm and newly fenced for more security. The tennis court which is on site, is open everyday. There is a children playground by the pool, with a swing, two table tennis tables, and small houses for very young children. The grounds are open to all, children has sufficient place to run freely. There is a foot path going around the property, with access to the village on a 10 mns walk.
