We highly recommend L'ancienne Ecole. It is a really beautiful house, very private yet in the heart of the village with its bars , restaurants and local shops. The swimming pool is fantastic to cool off in after hours soaking up the sun. You can spend your whole holiday enjoying the house and village or use it as a base to explore the region - either way it's a real treat. |

Lovely property enhanced by a very relaxing location. Long time since we have stayed in a residential area -usually opting for more remote properties. But location added so much to the enjoyment of our holiday - aided by lovely weather. Great to walk just a few minutes to buy bread, deli stuff at local shops and market. Pleasant unchallenging local walks from the house! Bergerac old town good and many local chateaux and restaurants withiin easy access. |
