About the home

This House/Villa has only just become available for rent as it was built for our family to visit and stay there as my parents live within 5 minutes from the property. But due to work commitment we are unable to get over as much as we would like so we have decided to rent the house and let others share the magic moments of Florida and watch the evening sunset accross the lake. We have 3 children so the location and layout was based around them so we were never too far away from the main attractions. The local food and shopping areas are second to none with a large cinema complex only 5 minutes away and access to the main Highway only a couple of minutes from the house.

This very spacious New 5 bedroom house benefits from its own private pool, with a shallow end perfect for the children. Leading from the living room is a spacious pool area complete with B-B-Q and a stunning lake view. Furnished with a table and chairs both inside and out so you can watch the evening sunset. There are 3 family bathrooms all fitted with showers as well as baths. the house is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.If you are there at the end of March and into April you will have an excellent view of the Lakeland Sun n Fun.

This is one of the best Air Shows in the US with fast jets , helicopters and lots of family activities. The house is close enough to the attractions but far enough so that you don't get caught with tourist prices when eating out and shopping etc.

There is a washer/Dryer room located upstairs between all top floor bedrooms. Wireless Internet is available throughout the whole house 24/7. A double garage will house 2 cars while there is additional parking for a further 2 more cars on the drive. 4 of the bedrooms are located upstairs and 1 double bedroom and full bathroom located downstairs.

Further details outdoors:
The pool area is screened in, which helps against the high sun rays and keeps the bugs at bay to prevent those unwanted bites. A BBQ is provided and located at the pool area for those evening cook outs while watching the sunset go down over the lake. A view and moment to cherish.

As with any rental, a deposit will be required when making the booking. You will be greeted at the house on arrival and shown around to explain how things work etc. If required we can collect and return you to the airport but an additional charge will be made depending on the airport that you arrive into. We can provide you with details of local car rental companies in the Lakeland area. Smoking is allowed on the property but only outside.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area region

In the summer, high temperatures in the state seldom exceed 100 °F (38 °C). During the late autumn and winter months, Florida has experienced occasional cold fronts that can bring high winds and relatively cooler temperatures for the entire state, with high temperatures that could remain into the 40s and 50s. With all the main attractions at hand like Disney Epcot and the Water Parks you will always be able to fill the days with fun packed adventure and a lifetime of valuable memories.

The Lakeland area

Lakeland is a very upcoming area with out door shopping areas to enjoy nights out weather your shopping or wanting to dine.

There is a multi screen cinema located within 5 mins drive surrounded again buy the lakes and local restaurants. Sun & Fun located at Lakeland regional Airport is only minutes away so if you are here at the right time you will have a spectacular view of one of Americas best Air Shows.

As with most means of transport across the United States, cars are the most commonly used so with the aid of car rental the drive time to the house is around 1 hour along Interstate 4. It is advisable to rent a car from the airport but we can arrange a pick up and drop off if required but an additional charge will be made. There are lots of local car rental companies within a short distance from the house and most will arrange the car to be dropped off and collected.

“family get together” fantastic base to stop at for Disney world, busch gardens etc as it's only 40 mins drive each way, the house is great for children and adults alike, has a swimming pool which the kids thought... more

“GREAT House. Great location.” We rented this house for a week for the Sun n Fun Fly-In. It was perfect, and about 500 yards from the front gate. We couldn't have asked for any better. We have already booked it for next year.

“Fantastic Florida” Had a great stay at this property. Everything you could think of....from the personal welcome to the pantry stocked. The setting was excellent being on the lake facing West...beautiful sunsets and the wild life was most enjoyable. A very quiet, relaxing neighborhood.

“A truly wonderful place to stay, just as in the pictures!” Quiet peaceful & felt safe...plenty of room, nicely equipped with a homey effect. Beautiful location and handy to my specific family needs, at a reasonable rate. I'd be happy to recommend to anyone or if the opportunity arises, return without any hesitation. Nice for families of any age.

“Beautiful home” My family and I rented this home due to the great location. It was close to family we have in the area and to a lot of great activities. Orlando is just an hr away and Daytona Beach just 2hrs. The caretaker was at the house when we arrived. He was very helpful and made sure to come back when we left to see us off. The house had everything we needed. It was was warm and welcoming. It truely feels like a home away from home. The open living room/kitchen made it great for family time even when you're cooking or doing the dishes. The bedrooms spacious, with soft lighting and very comfortable beds. The bathrooms upstairs have his and her sinks and wonderful showers. The master bedrooms walkin shower and hugtumult were amazing. The downstairs community bathroom was also great. Oh, and the pool was much larger then we thought and was put to good use. This is a great house for families.

“Lovely villa with fantastic pool and views” The villa is ideally situated for travel to Disney (55 mins) and Tampa. It was ideal for our needs as it is in a quiet residence overlooking a lake. It has a fantastic pool and barbeque area for both adults and kids! The rooms are spacious with two having en suite facilities which was perfect for us. I would recommend this property to anyone who wishes to enjoy an area which is not a tourist centred town but is located within easy reach of all the Disney parks and attractions. For those with a larger family it would be great value for money too.
