About the home

A large villa with massive terrace and pool at the front with magnificent views, built in 1999 and family owned and operated now as a holiday home full of everything needed for all ages to enjoy short or long stays in comfort and complete with all manner of modern and traditional fittings.

The local bakers and butchers are an excellent source of high quality spanish and english supplies. The restauarnts and bars are at local prices and friendly staffed year round with no season or tourist rates.

Facilities

Further details indoors:
4 large bedrooms each with built in wardrobes, ceiling fans, shutters and nets. The master has an en suite bathroom the others share the 2nd bathroom, both feature bath with glass panel showers and bidets< cabinets and are fully tiled.

Comfortable lounge diner with breakfast bar to fully fitted kitchen with all you need to cook and prepare your eat in or barbecue meals.

Comes with access to kids toys from ride on cars and thomas to playstation x box, CDs DVDs books & mp3 i pod docking unit.

Further details outdoors:
Gated front and rear same level terraces, with a large garage providing storage for inflatables, kids toys, garden and pool furniture. With many ages kids toys cars, bikes, playstations, xbox, books, CDs dvd, ipod mp3 player.

A short walk down the hill to the most local bars but a short drive to vinuela will give you the local supermarket, bank cash machine, pharmacy and medical centre ( bring your NI cards with you . All linen and towels are included, gas may be already available for the barbeque if you run out during your stay not the local garage sells replacements for only a few euros.

the satellite tv channels available are UK freeview, if you wish full spaort or uk spec channels bring your uk box and change it over it works fine, if you just bring your card it will not expand the channels further.

The Andalucia / Malaga Province region

Looking down the Rio Salia valley to Vinuela, and beyond to sea in distance with the lake on the right and mountains of Alhama de Granada to the left you are never tired of the peace and tranquillity of this rural yet well connected region.

With the Alhambra palace, Sierra Nevada Ski and mountain area, Nerja caves, Competa and other classic and even closer Spanish villages, towns and seaside resorts like Nerja and Torre del mar, all within easy driving distance.

The Lake Vinuela / Los Romanes area

The local attractions in Vineula, Puente don Manuel, & Los Romanos include: excellent traditional restaurants and bars, bakeries and butchers, many other stores and farmers markets in the area.

Baveria golf +34 952 555015(20mins), Club Anorite Golf +34 952 4040001 (30mins), within view of Alcaucin national park ideal for walking trekking barbecues etc, also within walking distance of lake Vinuela and its carp, trout and bass fishing and barbecue opportunities.

Hotel vinuela, is ideally located within view for those nights whenyou need a special meal or treat, it also has pool, tennis courts and other leisure facilities available to non residents.

4 Caminos, is at the bottom of the hill a 5 min walk it has a full a la carte menu and pizza menu with take aways. A local farmers market meets at Trapiche weekly, many local restaurants feature menu del dia options for less than 9 euros for 3 courses including wine.

A hair salon is located just next to the bakers at puente don manuel crossroads.Also in 'Puente' is Meson Sara, a lovely spanish traditional restaurant, the butchers which is fantastic, an english shop which stocks all many uk products, including papers and milk.

Drive to Velez Malaga and the villa is 1/4km off main road to Alhama, up a small hill into the cortijas romero urb/ village with all made up roads, a bar, some shops and ala carte restaurant and pizzeria. Within minutes of local shops, bars, restaurants, butchers, bakers, health centre, chemist, bank/cash point, 24 hr garage, take away indian, pizzeria, spit roasted chicken etc. Fully made up roads all way to villa roads, From main road to villa illuminated with street lamps villa has gate and exterior lighting, for late night arrivals.
