About the home

Villa Brison which is built in an olive grove is situated close to Lake Vinuela and the village of Alcaucin and approx 40 minutes drive from Malaga Airport.

Shops,Restaurants and Tapas Bars are 3 km from villa and the coast is approx 20 minutes drive (best of both worlds).

The villa benefits from a private swimming pool with Roman steps and large patio areas for relaxing in the sun. There is a built in BBQ and area for al fresco dining. The views can only be described as stunning in very tranquil surroundings.

To keep you cool the villa has air-conditioning to all bedrooms and lounge dining room.

Further details indoors:
Linen is provided for internal use only and changed weekly so beach towels would be required for the pool area.

Further details outdoors:
The swimming pool is not heated and is maintained weekly to keep it in top condition.
Plastic wine/ drinking tumblers are available to be used around the pool area for you own safety.

Conditions

A refundable breakages deposit of £150 is required on final payment, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection by our management team).

Strictly no smoking inside the villa but outside no problems.

The Andalucia / Malaga Province region

Alcaucin is a small white washed village nestled in the national park area close to Lake Vinuela.

The temperature is slightly warmer is the summer months and slightly cooler in the winter time, compared to the coast.

It is not unusual to see the mountains covered with snow from our villa during the winter months making the views fantastic.

The Lake Vinuela / Alcaucin area

Within a short drive from the villa there are the natural springs at Alama De Granada which you can bathe in.
On the same route but further on is Granada and the Alambra Palace which is a must if you have never been.

Nerja is well worth a visit on any day. Sunday the restaurant Ayos on Burriana Beach cook a giant paella and the market is on Tuesdays. There are also the Caves of Nerja close by.

There is a water park close by for the children which is on the way to the beach at Torre Del Mar.

Fly to Malaga, Casa Brison is approx 50 km from airport (a 45 minute drive approx ).

Fly to Granada Casa Brison is 60 Km approx from airport (80 minutes drive).

Both airports benefit from cheap/budget flights from various airlines including Easyjet & Ryanair.

"First impression was how clean and tidy the villa was. The decor and furniture were both of a high standard. There was everything you need for a comfortable holiday eg. Private Pool, Terraces, Sunbeds, TV, Satalite, DVD, Air Conditioning, Dishwasher,Washing Machine - so all the home comforts were catered for. We were met at the airport by Ken & Tricia (who live in the villa two doors down) and taken to the villa. The next morning they gave us a full explanation of local amenities / places to visit etc (VERY HELPFUL - VERY NICE PEOPLE!). Although the villa is a bit off the beaten track (some way up the side of a small mountain) it was only 5mins drive to the village and 25 mins drive to the beach (which we found to be no big problem). Stunning scenery around and VERY PEACEFUL and PRIVATE. Overall rating 9.5 out of 10 (with the 0.5 taken off due to it being a little off the beaten track so to speak) but this didn't affect our enjoyment ....RECOMMENDED

"we had an absolutely fabulous time at a marvellous villa with great facilities at the villa . we were concerned when booking it that with three boys aged 6, 8 and 12 that being a bit remote that they may have got bored but it was never a problem because of the facilities at the villa and we would definitely go back. m.dabell"

Hi Tony and Penny

Well we are back and it is raining! We had a great time in Spain - your villa is quite something and the views are just fantastic. The weather was hot, hot, hot and our good intentions of visiting places ended up in the bin. We sat by the pool and chilled all week (under parasols as the sun was too fierce most of the time). We did venture out in the evenings in search of food and found some great places to eat.

You were right about the winds - first thing in the morning especially before the sun came up, they were quite something.

Thank you for all your help - I only wish you had tried to persuade me to take two weeks!! We had a great holiday and you made it all very easy.

A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking and the remainder to be paid no later than 8 weeks before the start of holiday.

Guests are requested to arrive no earlier that 2pm on the day of arrival and depart no later than 10am on the day of departure to enable our manager to prepare/ clean the villa.

Cot and Highchair could be supplied at a cost of £10 per week ( both )

A refundable security deposit of £150 is payable with your final balance. This will be returned upon inspection of the property not later than 7 days after your holiday has finished.

Please note that no other persons other than the original people named on the booking form will be allowed to stay over night without owners prior permission.
