Casa de Suenos landscaped garden area boasts a lovely private pool with roman steps in the shallow area for easy access and an outside shower. There is also a shaded terrace which is the perfect setting for a light breakfast, lunch or lavish evening meal. The rooftop solarium is also a great place to soak up the panoramic views.
In beautifully peaceful surroundings, Just 15 minutes from the beach, Casa de Sueños has good access and is only 1km to the nearest villages of Puente don Manual and Viñuela within the district of Alcaucin, surrounded by beautiful mountain views and whitewashed villages. The village offers several restaurants, Spanish bars serving typical Spanish dishes and tapas, a bank, doctor, bakery, butcher and supermarket for everyday provisions. There is also a market which is held weekly. English shops providing home food are also located in the village.

Conditions
1. For reservation a 25% non refundable deposit is required and the balance is due 8 weeks before departure.
2. The owners take no responsibility for accidents in and around the villa, and strongly recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance and that you obtain E111 forms to provide you with free or reduced cost emergency medical treatment if required.
3. The owners of the property will not be held responsible for any cut in water or electricity supplies, which can happen occasionally in Spain.
4. Please ensure that the villa is a pet and smoke free zone.
Caution: Please note that when going down to the second or third level garden areas care is required as the tiles could get slippery if wet.
The Andalucia / Malaga Province region
The resort of Nerja is a 30 minute drive away. Nerja is famous for the Cuevas de Nerja (pre-historic caves) and the Balcon de Europe, a beautiful promenade extending out over the secluded cove beaches.
The famous white village of Frigliana is also only a 30 minutes drive and the historical city of Malaga (40 minutes) with the recently opened Picasso Museum is certainly worth a visit.
Puerto Banus, Marbella and Mijas (1.5 hours average) also make a lovely day out along the Costa de Sol .
Slightly further away (2 hours) Granada and the Alhambra Palace is truly one of the wonders of the world.
The Lake Vinuela / Puente don Manuel area
There are many other picturesque whitewashed villages in the area to explore including Viñuela, Periana, Alcaucin, Iznate, Canilles de Aceituno, Sedella and Salares. The area is reknowned for olive growing.
Some of the activities that can be enjoyed by the more energetic include horse-riding, wind surfing, mountain biking, and walking.
The impressive Hotel Viñuela on the lake is worth a visit to get a taste of the breathtaking views and sample the excellent restaurant which serves authentic Andalucían and Continental food. The hotel also has a communal pool and tennis courts which can be used for a small fee.
The area near the lake enjoys a couple of typical Spanish restaurants with spectacular views of the mountain and of Lake Viñuela. It is recommended to book a table during the busy period to enjoy the real local taste of Spanish atmosphere at the Camping Restaurant. The food is excellent, cooked to order and very inexpensive. There are other restaurants and bars in the nearby beautiful villages of Periana, Alcaucin and Los Romanes

Five of us, including two children aged 11 and 14 stayed here for ten days in August. We were looking for somewhere quiet, clean & comfortable and relaxing. It certainly ticked all of these boxes. The views are good and the private pool was in good use everyday. It's an ideal location with the coast being about 20 mins away, close to some fantastic restaurants and mountain scenes with some lovely villages nearby. |
