**FEATURED IN SPANISH HOMES MAGAZINE** This villa will appeal to those of you who enjoy the countryside but don't want to feel isolated, who wish to enjoy the real Spain in the nearby local villages with their fiestas and Spanish cuisine.
A central base for exploring the countryside of Andalucia, yet the beaches of the Mediterranean are only 12kms away. Converted from a Finca about 15 years ago into a cosy single storey home. Beautiful setting on the edge of the village of Los Romanes on the western shores of Lake Vinuela.
Private 8m x 4m swimming pool, with barbeque and terraces with fantabulouso views over the lake and surrounding hills. Full lighting in pool and on terraces to enjoy dining 'al fresco' at night!
Great for driving to explore places of interest in the area such as NERJA, RHONDA, GRANADA, COMPETA, FRIGILLANA. If you are interested in walking we are very close to the Tejada National Park.
'Milagrossa' is best enjoyed by mature couples and mature family groups.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Great for exploring inland rural Andalucia with magnificent countryside and beautiful whitewashed villages such as COMPETA, SAYALONGA, SEDELLA and COMARES to name a few. The Tejeda National Park with Mount Maroma are easily accessed just on the other side of the Lake.
Mediterranean Sea - TORRES DEL MAR, Torrox and Nerja all within half an hour from the house with miles of sundrenched beaches strung with seafood restaurants. Just great for a leisurely lunch at a Chingirito with fresh barbequed Sardines and an ice cold Tinto de Verona!
NERJA, CAVES, FRIGILANA As well as exploring the sophisticated town of Nerja, with it's beautiful shops and beaches, take time to visit the fantastic caves in the mountains at the back of the town. There are also Concerts held there during the summer which are fantastic due to the acoustics. Frigilana just inland from Nerja is a wonderful old village with lovely guided walks around the higgledy streets.
GRANADA, SEVILLE AND MALAGA - Either drive or take a guided Coach Tour to discover the historical sights and sounds of these beautiful cities. Coach tours leave from Torre Del Mar. Also High Speed train link now open from Malaga to Madrid and also Seville.
Lake Vinuela / Los Romanes area
From Easter to New Year there are Fiestas celebrated in all of the villages around the lake, such as Alcaucin, Periana and Vinuela. Join in with the locals as they parade from village to village in their traditional Spanish costumes. At Easter the Oxen still pull the statue of the Virgin Mary around the villages of the Lake.
In many towns join in dancing in the streets, beaches and fireworks at night all add to the fantastic Andalucian atmosphere.
There are four restaurants on the 'doorstep' - but there are so many more! Most of the local villages have fantastic restaurants offering typical Spanish cuisine, as well as most International cuisines.
There is a mini-market, bar and restaurant in the village about five minutes at most.
GOLF Courses are available at BAVIERA GOLF(20 minutes) a beautiful course with sea, mountain and countryside views. ANORETA GOLF (25 minutes) just off the N340 motorway, a challenging course with tight fairways and water hazards. There are competitions that you can enter or just turn up.
How to get there
Nearest Airport - Malaga airport. Transfer time is about one hour drive from the airport.
You can also fly into Granada Airport which is only about 2 hours away.

Further details indoors: Our home has one double room (en suite) and two twin bedded rooms all with beautiful views over either the lake/pool or the mountains.
The middle bedroom opens out onto the pool.
Air conditioning in lounge only (reversible heat in winter) Additional fan coolers for summer and heaters in winter.
Satellite free to view TV/DVD player.
Water deposit in garage as a back up - just in case the water to the village is turned off in the summer months.
Further details outdoors: Large rustic terraces on two levels on the lake side of the house, where you have the most spectacular, uniterupted views to the lake and mountains.
Poolside edged with palm trees with olive groves to three sides of the property.
Built in BBQ on the edge of the pool terrace for walm balmy nightime dining, with lighting on the terrace.
The terrace at the rear has a 8 x 4 meter swimming pool, with a 'Roman end' steps into the pool and underwater lighting for evening swimming
There are two wooden pergolas, an olive and fig tree for shade.
Patio furniture, including rustic tiled seating area.
The school next door has recently added a sports area; which we have screened off to retain our total privacy and covered this with palm trees and many climbing plants. The school term ends in early July for three months.

A security deposit of £150 is required with the final payment, prior to giving out keys to our property. This will be repaid from the UK, after return of the keys and inspection of the property.
