The ground floor level, a completely independent 1 bed apartment offers comfortable, very spacious accommodation for guests. There is an abundance of rustic features while still having every modern amenity.The owners, who use the upper level, appreciate your need for privacy but are available should you need anything at all.
The house is surrounded by olive groves and almond trees with unrivalled,breathtaking Lake and Mountain views.
This is the ideal place to get away from it all, to relax and unwind, to explore the beaches, countryside and moorish villages of Andalucia. Lake Vinuela,which can explored on foot and it's great bar/restaurant is walking distance from the house.Horse riding and Lake sports are available locally.
Dine out on your private terrace or visit the many excellent restaurants nearby.Supermarkets,banks,etc are close at hand and there are regular 'street markets' where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables and of course the 'bargain gift' to take home.
The amazing cities of Malaga, Granada, Ronda and Cordoba are easily visited in a day.

The Andalucia / Malaga Province region
Andalucia is one of the most beautiful regions of Spain and the amazing direct view of Lake Vinuela and the mountain range of the Sierra Tejeda will not cease to impress. The beauty of the forever changing colours of the mountains,the tranquility of Lake Vinuela and the peace of the countryside are inspiring in this rural yet well connected region. There is large choice of beaches and the many Andalucian 'pueblo blancos' are a short drive away. Granada,with it's fabulous Alahambra Palace, Cordoba and Ronda can all be visited in a day.
The Lake Vinuela area
The village of Los Romanes,(2mins) has a small supermarket which is very well stocked,Pepe's bar where you can meet the locals and Miguel's great restaurant.There are 2 great Lake side restaurants,visible from the finch,which can be reached on foot. There are a variety of shops, banks,bars and restaurants nearby in Vinuela and Puente Don Manuel.(10mins) A hypermarket and shopping mall can be found in Velez-Malaga,the capital of the Axarquia region,which has a beautiful 'old town'. The nearest beach is Torre Del Mar, a bustling spanish coastal town with large expanses of beach and numerous beach 'chiringitos' where you can enjoy freshly cooked sardines and squid with a welcome glass of wine. The area is perfect for walking and hiking (maps provided) and fishing. Sailing and horse riding can be arranged locally. Throughout the year the many 'fiestas' in real Spain can be enjoyed,Easter with the processions through the streets,summer with the numerous village 3/4 day celebrations. Join in with the 'Fiesta of the raisin','Wine' or even 'Black Pudding'. The finca has unrivalled views of the Lake from every aspect and is breathtaking to say the least.
