About the home
This is a very attractive Andalucian-style house, which was once a busy mill, it has been carefully restored into a lovely welcoming holiday home by the present owners. The panoramic views from this property are quite breathtaking, as are the very spectacular evening skies which often seemed to be full with thousands of bright glowing stars.
You enter the house from a large shady patio into a living room which is furnished with comfortable armchairs sofa and a woodburning stove, excellent for those late autumn and winter evenings. There is a dining table and chairs next to the well -equipped kitchen, from which the doors lead out to a lovely terrace, great for sitting out and enjoying a drink in the evening. From the terrace there is a path down to a lovely swimmimg pool area.
On the ground floor there is a large bathroom and a combined small TV-room/bedroom open area (sleeps 2). Upstairs there are four nice bedrooms (air-conditioned) and two bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have private balconies and the third has a french balcony and the fourth has a large roof terrace

The Andalucia / Malaga Province region
La Molineta is the perfect location for excursions to Granada, Seville and Cordoba who are less than two hours drive away. If you desire to visit Malaga we would recommend that you park your car in Torre del Mar and go into Malaga on the local bus and you avoid parking problems and stress , it is also remarkably cheap. The best sandy beaches are East of Nerja 30-40 minutes drive away, though Torre del Mar and other local beaches are also very popular
The Lake Vinuela / Los Romanes area
Close to the outskirts of Los Romanes where La Molineta is situtated there are great walking tracks.There are five good restaurants in the area one of them on easy walking distance.
May to Sept is Fiesta time and there are always plenty of fiesta's going on in one of the local villages during this period

From Malaga Airport it takes approx 45 minutes. You take the coastal motorway A7 travelling East to the town of Velez-Malaga which is situated 35 km east of Malaga.
From the airport drive towards Malaga and then follow the signs for Almeria/Motril/Ronda de Malaga. About 35 km east of Malaga turn off the motorway at the Velez-Malaga/Torre del Mar/Vinuela junction. From that junction you turn left traveling north on the A356 (Colmenar/Casabermeja) until you reach the two restaurants that are beside the Lake Vinuela Lake (approx 15 km) Where the owners will meet you . From the restaurants it takes approx 3 to 5 minutes walk to Cortijo Barranquero
