With easy access to the many Golf Courses in the Area, Natural Parks, Wild Life Parks, Mountain Walks, Water Parks, the Beaches or just the Sun for the Terrace of your Accommodation it is the perfect spot for your holiday. A visit any time of the year will offer you the opportunity to take advantage of the cultural and gastronomic delights of the area, not forgetting the festivals. From your base at Huetor you can visit the historic towns of Cordoba, Granada, Seville, Antequera and Malaga. Or even ski the Sierra Nevada. Axarquia is just 45 minutes from the airport.

Each of the Self Contained Rustic Houses at Huetor provides magnificent views of Lake Vinuela and Mount Maroma.
Each fully equipped house consists of two large Bedrooms (a Double and Two Singles), Lounge/Dinner, which overlook Lake Vinuela and Mount Maroma. A fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, a large private sun terrace with barbecue. For those taking a winter break the log hearth in the lounge will remove any winter chill in the air. Air Conditioning and Central Heating.

The pool has a salt water system. Enjoy the tranquillity and beautiful views in the pool, guests are not all at the same time in the pool.

The Andalucia / Malaga Province region
The Costa del Sol is renowned for having over 300 days of sunshine per year. Daytime temperatures average from 16C in January to 29C in August. In springtime the surrounding area is carpeted with wild flowers. There is also a wealth of birdlife to watch, including if you are lucky, buzzards & eagles from the nearby National Park.
There are two excellent 18 golf courses nearby, Baveria Golf (20 mins) Tel: (0034) 952555015 & Club Anoreta (30 mins) Tel: (0034) 952404000.
Other attractions: The Caves at Nerja (35 minutes), & the Nerja Donkey Sanctuary (35 minutes), the Alhambra Palace in Granada (90 minutes), the Seirra Nevada National Park (20 minutes), the Wolf Park (35 minutes), Quad Bike adventure trails (35 minutes) &, of course, the frenetic activities of the Costa del Sol from Torremolinos to Estepona, taking in the famous upmarket resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus (75 minutes).
The Picasso Museum is in Malaga (50 mins). There are also numerous colourful markets along the coast & in the inland villages.
The Axarquia region has a natural environment of great richness and variety – lakes,mountain ranges and bird migration routes. It is a region of historic white villages with a distinctive Arabic influence scattered amongst dramatic hills and mountains, and where grape vines, mango trees and kiwi fruits thrive alongside ancient olive and almond groves.
The Lake Vinuela area
This special part of Spain is perfect for a 'get away from it all' type of holiday. There is excellent walking & biking nearby, or why not just sit by the pool, drink in hand & soak up the tranquillity whilst taking in the wonderful scenery? All types of non-motorised sports are allowed on the lake, including swimming, fishing, windsurfing, canoes & sailing.
There are plenty of nearby attractions including: Horse riding, hiking, mountain biking & bird watching. There are 3 lakeside restaurants nearby & there are lakeside BBQ facilities. Torre del Mar (20 minutes) is a typical Spanish seaside town & apart from the beach, shops & bars, there is a Waterpark and a shopping Mall (El Ingenio).
Near Torre there is also go-carting, a cinema & a large shopping Mall (El Ingenio). In the surrounding villages there are plenty of ferias/festivals especially during the Spring & Summer months & these are a fantastic chance to get to see the real Spain & enjoy the Andalucian hospitality.
