About the home

The villa is a few minutes from the white village of Alcaucin with its bars and restaurants. The nearest coastal town of torre de Mar is 25 mins away. 35 mins away is Nerja which is a more touristy town with many excellent restaurants.

The villa is on 2 floors and offers 3 spacious bedrooms (one with balcony and lovely views) a fully equipped kitchen, 3 WC's a private swimming pool and outdoor shower with patios for sunbathing. There is a large garden which can be used as an inside playground in the winter or even just as a storage room.

The villa has fully automatic aircon/heating system (noiseless Daikin hotel system) in all bedrooms, living room and kitchen.
Please bring you own beach towels. Separate laundry room.

The pool and sun terraces are private. It is unheated and maintained weekly. There are 6 sun loungers plus 6 cosy garden chairs and table for 6-8 people.

A refundable deposit of 150€ is payable on arrival.

The Andalucia / Malaga Province region

Axaquia is a glorious region of Southern Spain, a place rich in history and architecture, from the humblest whitewashed stone cottages to the glorious palaces, mosques and churches, which reflects the diverse people whose descendants still uphold many of the traditions of bygone days. Visitors to the local villages, especially at the time of the harvesting of grapes or grain, may find that have walked into a fantastic street party, where the young boys and girls are dressed in traditional flamenco costume, and wine and food may be offered to all comers. We are only 20mins from Velez Malaga, the market town of the region and Torre del Mar still an unspoilt Spanish toursit resort.

The Lake Vinuela / Alcaucin area

Puente don Manuel: A thriving hamlet containing bars, restaurants and cafes. As well as bakers, butchers, beauticians, shops, chip shop and a weekly market. All amenities are within a few minutes walk but do not impinge of the tranquillity of the property.

Lake Vinuela: Within a few minutes drive is the beautiful national park of La Vinuela. Looking north across the stunning Lake Vinuela, the valley rises lush and green to meet the wooded slopes of the Sierra Tejeda national park. Rugged and majestic peaks of the Granada mountains are the backdrop to this majestic vista. The perfect place for all non motor aqua activities.

Torre del Mar: (20km from property). The bustling coastal town of Torre del Mar is the perfect place for a day on the beach or at the ever popular Aquavelis water park. Filled with bars, restaurants and shops this is a beautiful place to spend the day. Weekly market Thursday.
